The negativity overwhelms me, how nobody answers why that surplus exists, but yet they ask what happens if nobody adopts. It does not take any real research to see the obstacles in place by what many say is an outrageously burdensome adoption process. Cutting that bureaucracy without endangering the child's well-being should greatly alleviate that surplus.

 

If women who do not want to ever have children ask for tax money to sterilize them, should taxes pay for it? That is also a choice, and would be taxpayer-funded just like killing a child they wouldn't want anyway.

Consider the savings in social services complaints for adults or for the child. Consider the money saved in taxes raising that child because liberals believe she'll ALWAYS remain on welfare so they want Mom voting their way. To break free, conceive no child at all.

Let’s round it down to half a million abortions per year - even if only half were to be adopted out that is a quarter of a million babies and children requiring adoption. PER YEAR. At present about 140,000 children are adopted each year in America - so what will you do with the excess?
