5th Grader Kicked Out School - Political Correctness in Public Education

Welcome to the Kafkaesque world of political correctness in our education system. This kid could write a book on being trapped in an insane system that
operates under it's own peculiar and insane logic with no way out.

 

Honestly... this was my first thought before I started to burn inside.

 

Just sitting here trying to remember all of the zany over the top political correctness and hyper-sensitivity over the years.......and it always involves liberals.

Always.

Remember the kid expelled for making a finger gun? Liberals.
The American flag clothing that had the kids expelled? Liberals.

Example after example.

 

Well now - that's a very stupid and ugly accusation against an 11 yr old KID.

At that age, if they like, they like - if they dislike, they dislike. Kids are upfront and honest about their feelings......

 

You can't be surprised. The whole PC agenda is nothing more than an attempt to destroy our barriers and in the end destroy capitalism. I'll elaborate, this concept came out in the 50's and 60's from the Soviets, when they realized they couldn't get us to revolt. Its all there in history, if anyone wants to learn it, even the lowest liberal scum can't deny it. If you desire links and other proof, PM me, I'll provide it. I simply tire of the liberal game of this is all new or something, its been happening for decades.

 

One case I remember .... no, 2.

Several yrs ago this 17 yr old HONOR student, who was an Eagle Scout and goal was to get into West Point - that was his dream.

A classmate reported him for having a knife in his possession. Principle asked him, he said yes, but not on him - it was a 2" camping knife, locked in his car and locked in his camping gear box. He took the principal out to his car, unlocked it, got the box, unlocked it and showed him the small knife.... he was put on suspension for - I think - about a month....

This kid was sick about it and was so worried about his suspension keeping him out of WP... it was all over the news. WP heard about it and contacted him, assuring him it wouldn't keep him out of WP.......

This kid was an honor student, had never been in trouble and had a goal in life - but that (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) principal did this to him anyway about a dam 2" knife locked in his car and locked in a box!

BUT other kids vehicles on school grounds were shown to have large wrenches, tire irons and other items that could be used as weapons in the trunk of cars........

A 6 yr old Boy Scout received his BS utensil to eat with and the little guy was so proud of it - he took it to school to eat his lunch with. The utensil dropped on floor, teacher saw it, took it from him b/c it was a 'weapon' and he was suspended........ I was livid ... I was LIVID when I heard these stories!!

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO OLD-FASHIONED COMMON SENSE?!

 

Really HD? Try pulling up the countless threads of liberals calling Palin's down syndrome son names and mocking him. It is liberals that have taken this nation to an all time low

 

What happend to common sense starts with an "L", but it is not Liberals, it is Lawyers... Any time anything happens the Lawyers stop advocating personal responsibility and start suing everyone else. Now the school districts can't even get a hint of anything without having to react.

It is like cops now. If a cop sees an underage kid with a beer, he can't confiscate the beer and tell the kid to walk home. I was caught with weed as a teenager and the cop told me to throw it away and sent me on my way. Not any more, cops HAVE to bust you. If later that night you get in a car wreck and it is shown the cop let you go, bingo, Lawyers hold the entire town hostage for tens of millions. Now a cop will bust you for anything.

And all those cops are "liberals" right.

It is the legal systems that decided people were no longer responsible for themselves. That if you get burned by hot coffee, someone else must pay. That is the problem.

It is just ridiculous the right wingers in this thread. Their foaming at the mouth rabid hate of liberals shows their own faults, not the faults of others. Everything is a liberals fault. If they trip in their own house and stub a toe, somehow a lazy liberal construction worker must have made the house wrong and is at fault. No evidence needed, it is liberals....

Hmmm......... I don't necessarily disagree that trial lawyers are and have been a corrosive influence on society but surely you are aware that trial lawyers are Democrats? Trial Lawyer PACs always donate huge to Dems and fight tort reform.........

But trial lawyers, while maybe being a factor does not relieve school administrators an teachers of common sense. Again, it is always liberals.

Liberals created the concept of political correctness.
Liberals introduced the political correctness concept to our schools.

The poor kid and his family in the OP is the victim of modern liberal progressiveness.

 

This is another attempt to chill free speech with political correctness. And the liberal/leftist/socialist educators are doing it earlier and younger all the time.

This is why, during Obama's campaign, he said he wanted to start a mandatory early childhood program - something ahead of HeadStart. Nearly a cradle-to-graduation indoctrination of our kids.

 

Lucky kid. Maybe now he'll grow up free from the indoctrination center/prisons they refer to as public schools.

Com on, HD! This stupid senseless (*)(*)(*)(*) shouldn't be happening to these kids! There's no common sense here..... come to think of it, there was another case where a young boy in the classroom was doodling and what he drew was a gun....... he was suspended b/c he DREW a gun on paper! The school said they have 'zero tolerance' for that type of thing.... WTHELL? All they had to do was tell him 'no more drawing weapons'...

But these schools don't have any zero tolerance about the schoolyard BULLYING that's really damaging to the victims!!

Anyway, sorry for the rant, but these dam schools have really gone to hell in a hand basket and it's all b/c it's now a 'politically correct' world - liberalism.

And btw, speaking about lawyers - have you ever read the Stella Awards? You should. I'll give you an example - a woman was in a dept. store, browsing thru the clothes. A small kid was hopping around, darting in and out from under the clothes racks, the woman tripped over the kid and broke her ankle. She sued the store. the jury awarded her BIG BUCKS for her injury..... the rambunctious kid who tripped her was her OWN KID!

That's the jury system for ya..........

 

Well I agree that all those examples are stupid. And I agree that the school should have a spine and not institute these "zero Tolerence" rules because it is a dumb idea. But I don't think you can blame it all on liberals.

Are you trying to say there are no zero tolerence rules in republican areas. School boards who make the rules are local. So what about the honor student in Texas that was suspended for her uncles prop sword from a play in her car... Was that liberals? The point I am saying is it is stupid, and I agree they are stupid, but that it is not all "liberals" fault.

I mean it was conservatives who always say get tough on crime, and push for also stupid mandatory sentencing on drug laws. It is the same stupid mentality. So the argument is that "Liberals" want to be really tough on kids in school but really liberal with criminals after school. Because whenever a criminal gets parole and commits a crime, that is also "Liberals" fault according to these boards... I am not buying it. Basically, all I hear on this board is that whenever there is something that seems wrong or ridiculous, it is liberals fault, without any evidence why.

Liberals actually ARE PC and overly sensitive about race. As far as I can tell, there aren't any conservative policies or initiatives that encourage making fun of disabled kids.

I can't blame you for trying, though. The equivalence argument is the absolute favorite argument of liberals, even if it fails miserably almost every time they use it.

This whole event is born out of the Political Correctness of the left wing crybabies. The bureaucrats involved are weak kneed left wing freaks... count on it.
