No, the objective of science is to determine HOW things work. Their focus IS on how our climate changes.

So, yes it is warming, but their objective is NOT to demonstrate that it is warming - the objective is to let us know how that mechanism works.

We are warming. And, science has given us the methods by which it is doing so, along with error bars that show how precise is the understanding of each of the sources.

That INCLUDES understanding "natural" cycles - such as solar variance which comes in cycles, etc.

Scientific analysis to date shows that human contribution is greater than the natural sources of change.

Damn pesky skeptics, and their heresy against your climate change dogma. You, and your buddies should root out this evil, by burning a couple nonbelievers at the stake. Maybe, you can go on a climate jihad.

Better just to start buying up some 1 mile inland property that will be beach front soon enough.

You should see how Boston and New York as well as Miami are spending Billions just to keep the ocean water from flooding the streets.

So science does not tell us what the cause is? So it is left up to political hacks to decide? LOL!

I haven't seen deniers try a scientific direction in their argument.

Perhaps that would be interesting - one never knows!

Scientists have been quite thorough on what the causes are.

They've given analysis down to the watts per square meter level, including error bars.

But how many of those same scientists stuck up for
    Stanley Meyer?

Dear Mr. President: How you can secure the 2020 election.

But..... once Mr. Al Gore did such a great job of
selling young people and a significant percentage of
educators on the foundation for a carbon tax or cap and trade system.......
.... and once lawyers with a background in the environmental sciences saw how
much money could be made off a carbon tax......

... then the spin machine kicks into gear and no alternative theory will be taken seriously
    by the majority of people.....

    www.BankingSystemsFlaws.BlogSpot.ca/

and I had to put this concept over in the humor section...... even though I was being quite serious!

In alternate time line Mr. Gore wins the 2000 election but negates Global Dimming....

If you want to impugn various scientists, give it a try.

Asking a question such as you do here does not form an argument against the results of major scientific institutions and individual scientists the world over.

    Here is my theory......
    1. Jump on the artistic value inherent in a vision given to near death experiencer Dannion Brinkley back in 1975 about the nations of Jordan and Israel coming to a level of such close cooperation that people think they have became one nation.

    2. Improve Federal Reserve policy to allow for the financing of turning much of the desert land of the nation of Jordan green though large scale desalination of ocean water.

    3. The Sigmund Ivarsson Petra Project is the perfect opening gambit to get this started.

    4. Israel will not agree to the Petra Project...... because it will cause the Jordanian and P. A. economy to boom....... UNLESS.... the Islamic Waqf agrees to the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple...... in which case the Orthodox Jews and the Jerusalem Sanhedrin can force P. M. Netanyahu to agree to the Petra Project.....

    5. P. M. Stephen Harper is still the perfect retired political leader to get this started because he is still considered a rather "David" political figure by many Israelis.

    Notice post # 12....

Please pray or meditate on Canada's P. M. brokering Jordan - Israel peace deal?

How about this. The science says that climates change We can observe that this is, in fact, the case. We also know that the current climate is in a state of change. We know this because we can observe that this is the case. We have seen a gentle (and by gentle, I am referring to the empiric record of approx. <1C of warming that has been recorded since around 1865. so, yes, there has been warming.

What science has failed to do is explain why. Sure we have several hypothesis' that attempt to start a conversation, and yet, we have zero foundational work that science has provided to date that actually proves a causality. As in X amount of this caused Y amount of this. Like any mathematical proof, or chemical observation, etc, obviously the climate has warmed, slightly. The most obvious reason is unfortunately the least included in scientific research because it cannot be appropriately modeled, so solar output is held as a constant, even though the science of solar output demonstrates that this is not actually true.

So, from a purely science oriented perspective, these are the things we actually know and can prove. All the rest is unfortunately speculative and without substantive proof.

So, it seems that there are in fact deniers. They seem to be the cabal of folks invested in creating their tax scheme and blaming anthropogenic causes to justify it.

    This is a nonsensical argument.

There isn't any evidence of politicians changing the outcome of scientific investigation.

Also, scientists are not proposing specific solution methods. Even groups such as the IPCC are proposing that individual countries work on meeting overall objectives through methods that countries find appropriate for and by themselves.

Whether you like cap and trade (which is a method that has been used by various nations to solve problems by motivating individuals and businesses using free market capitalism) or regulation, or whatever, suggesting scientists are wrong on the grounds that Gore invested in a method of mitigating the severity of the problem is just plain silly.

What we need is far MORE investment in solutions to this problem - NOT less. Today, China is the major player in design, production and export of renewable energy technology - WHY did we let that happen? Why do we have so little interest in this sector that stands to grow so monumentally?

No, solar output is definitely NOT "held constant". There is extensive analysis of solar output, its cycles, the forms we receive, how it is filtered by our atmosphere, etc., etc.

More importantly, science has given us a breakout of sources of warming that show watts per square meter for each, along with error bars to show how well the source is understood.

These results indicate the dominance of anthropogenic sources.

Your idea that there is some overriding demand for tax policy that is simply using climate as an excuse is unsupportable nonsense - a conspiracy theory for which you don't even try to give evidence.

And, note that your theory is NOT based on science EVEN SLIGHTLY, as you argue that the science as no more than a false justification for the political nonsense that you postulate.

My personal opinion is that people that deny climate change are stupid at best, and greedy at worst. I believe most are greedy.

But..... the people who post to these forums tend to have high levels of education
and high incomes..... so if two or three more reasonably well informed people who have
spare time to spend on these forums.......
become somewhat more aware of what has been reported about hydrogen fuel engines......
we are one step closer to a much safer planet!

    https://peswiki.com/directory:hydrogen

    Just to let you know....
the word is that two replicas were made of Stanley Meyer's dune buggy......
    one was taken to China....
and the other one was taken to Israel.
