    I said leftist loserism is different now, then, it was radical republicanism and was a worthy cause. They let up during reconstruction and we got Jim Crow laws and voting rights violations and racist attitudes intensified.

    The leftist loserism that O'Bama employs is like the European socialism that is failing all over Europe, Germany abbandoned it and we should avoid it by throwing Barry Soetoro out on his his ass in November.

    I don't dissagree with anything in particular...except that what you're describing above isn't socialism either.

    If you're going to accuse the man of something, accuse him of what he might be guilty of...which is progressivism when it comes to healthcare.

    The term "socialist" or "communist" is over used, and innacurate. It's just like calling righties "racists" anytime they talk about entitlements, crime, or illegal aliens.

    OK. How about socialistic. Its a gateway socialism. Healthcare combined with Unionism and progressive policies that deminish our country are as much of socialism as I want. We need real American thinkers in politics, inovators in industry, and equal access to the free market.

    Andrew Johnson was all for slavery. Hitler was a conservative Euro style that was a French development. He was not a liberal. Americans were liberal, not leftist progressive or extreme conservatism.

    You misunderstood me because I was not clear.

    Indeed, there is no path whatsoever between the two and that was not my implication. I was only trying to say that there's a huge gap between the two ideologically to the point of complete incompatibility... which I thought I said, but don't recall.

    The term liberal has been completely perverted by American politics. Ideological liberals are basically polar opposites to socialists. Unfortunately the American political machine has forced the term onto the democrat party, which like the republican party frequently act in ways that aren't liberal at all.
