    A study in Ohio of neighborhoods with comparable poverty levels showed no difference at all when it came to violent crime rates with only one exception.

    Poverty is responsible for higher rates of violent crimes.

    Only those with an agenda take the FBI statistics out of context and use that as their fallacious "justification" for alleging that "blacks are more violent".

    I did say it had me worried, what do you want me to raise the panic alarm or something? Look, what's done is done. You nominated Hillary freaking Clinton. If EITHER of the two became POTUS, the world would recline and both parties had the gall to nominate both. And instead of this country "waking up", it was still soundly asleep and picked one of the two.

    Are you aware of the meaning of "tokenism"? Appointing a few very visible blacks to head projects of dubious benefit to minorities, like school choice, or with no experience in the field but just because they are black, like Ben Carson, probably does more harm than good.

    You have it reversed. A high crime rate was measured and investigated. In this specific case these is no difference. But nationally there is a difference. The question is why the difference in Columbus ?? Problems cannot be solved unless understood.

    I'm aware that Carson grew up in a very low income neighborhood, experienced the lack of opportunity resulting, and was able to succeed. I am also aware that the most powerful means for low income children to succeed is a quality education. School choice is a proven way to ensure that these kids have access to that quality education. There is nothing tokenism about that. Arguably those two issues are the most important domestic issues in the US today. The D's have done nothing to address them. As Trump asked - what is there to lose.

    as a general question I think that if hitler pulled back before poland and was satisfied with his gains up to that point he would have been remembered as one of the greatest german leaders and germany would still most likely be under a nazi party today.

    There really was no need to be so greedy as you generally need time to digest new territories to integreate them into your society.

    Poverty is the primary driver of crime regardless of race. Studies prove this to be true and if you look at the ratios of black and white poverty to black and white crimes they are virtually identical.

    Divide the number of offenses by the millions living in poverty for whites versus blacks.

    Whites: 9.4/17.8 = 0.53

    Blacks: 6.5/10 = 0.65

    The net difference is insufficient to support the baseless allegation that "blacks are more violent" nationwide.

    The statistic is fact based. Blacks commit crimes at a higher rate nationwide. The reason for this is correlated with the poverty rate. If the poverty rate is decreased hopefully crime will be reduced. But the fact remains that blacks are more violent meaning they commit crimes at a higher rate. That remains a true statement.

    You do understand the hippy revolution sprang from former Nazi's who ended up teaching at colleges throughout America? Over 6,700 of them. Heidegger is one of the most prominent.

    You do understand modern day liberals are nothing more than the hippies of the past? They even share 90% of their belief set.

    And besides, without the nazis we wouldn't have most of the medical advancements or technological advancements we do. We certainly wouldn't be in space yet, we wouldn't have had the scientist working for both Russia and the US that could have gotten us there.

    If that were true whites would make up over 3x the crime rate of blacks, since 3x as many whites live in poverty as blacks.
