Yes, there is the Prohibition but it's also been an understanding between the US/Japan(Especially since in 2014 by the Obama Administration) to gradually increase Japan's military presence in response to threats(though given Japan's Constitution and history, it has been a dicey proposition, but one I support). Here, Trump just took it to its logical and most radical extreme.

Though, that's merely Trump's opinion.. It will never happen not necessarily for constitutional reasons, but because Fukushima happened. The Japanese will never allow themselves to become a nuclear state. Though if the US Commitment weren't ironclad, I could see them changing their minds or at least the high Japanese brass considering it.

I didn't know this interview happened. I thought it was about Trump's comments on arming other nations with weapons. Fundamentally, Matthews is right that no one would "want" to hear that an American President would consider using a bomb. Publicly(and privately as well), the historic US position had been on Nuclear Proliferation. We want less nukes throughout the world, not more.

However, Trump's position reads like a misguided child, not someone who has nefarious intentions. Trump's comments here, suggests that nuclear weapons are the same as any missile or bomb, or a gun. This is the kind of callousness that definitely does have me worried. It's not that he's "factually" wrong, he isn't. He's just wrong on a sense of a greater game of politics than he can comprehend.

Once it's suggested that it's okay to fire a nuclear weapon, the untold catastrophic damage will be more than Trump's brand, it will be the human race that suffers. In Hillary Clinton though, we saw much the same. Just more through "official phrases" and the logical conclusion of those phrases.

We were screwed both ways on Sunday.

    1. Imperialism abroad looking for lebensraum.

    2. Entangling alliances with Axis powers, especially the USSR and Japan.

    3. Economic fascism. Widespread collusion between state and industry as in most modern nations. The formation of cartels in most industries. This is in my view the most significant thing about Nazism, if only because we all adopted variations of it.

    4. Harsh repression of liberties: gun rights, freedom of speech, etc.

    5. Forceful repression of any opposition.

Trump mainly hits home on the 3rd one, with a touch of the 4th thrown in.

I find it interesting that a Trump supporter would excuse this as "childishness" and not be all that alarmed.

While a complete lack of empathy is childish...it's pathological in an adult.

I don't think there are that many Republicans that believe that. I keep hearing that Liberals believe they are smarter than Cons. Is that true? Sure there are some on both sides that believe this crap, but not in the numbers you want to believe.

Way back 1865 the 13th amendment was made by a republican and precedence by 1866 the 13th amendment was enacted with total support by the GOP and resistance by the DEMS. I think it's not really about the party but it's all about that intrinsic individual notion that whites are supreme. In South Africa apartheid did occur but that was not the works of the republicans. It's all about the bad and good traits of being a human.

    You've missed my point,
Obama is a democrat and of course we could clearly see his race,
if GOP really used the white race supremacy as a tool then they could clearly won every election considering that 62.6% of Americans are whites. That also implies that majority of Americans are not really racist.

While I disagree with pretty much everything AmericanNationalist posts...A trump supporter he is not..so I give him credit for that.

I do agree though on his last point...it was a lose lose election, while my lesser evil was Clinton...the country chose Trump.

As an American I can only hope for the best....despite the facts.

No it is not violating rules if it is true.

A few among them are Validaionboy, Super21, razynack, and polakrafi...Brewsker has scaled back a bit, but they freely admit this and are proud.

(Edit: and youll notice their many reputation bars and many likes on things they post as well.)

I don't think you're helping your case considering how few white males voted for Obama.

I wish we had as much of a selection as the republicans did...it would have been a lock for us. President Obama did everything I voted for, despite the massive pushback. We needed just one more push to get single payer healthcare out and running...The collage Loan forgiveness would have been amazing, hell..just make the collage debt like any other debt....forgivable.

Single payer healthcare in itself woulda been the next boom....oh well.

Move to Europe. They have all that you desire. And economies which grow at even lower rates than Obama's.

How does the fact that there is a higher violent crime rate in the black community and therefore concluding that blacks are more violent mean anything other than stating the obvious. Even Jesse Jackson acknowledged that when followed by a group of young men and feeling relief when he found out they were white and not black. Does that make Jesse Jackson a racist ??
