    Wrong. The President could have and should have negotiated a deal to avoid the shutdown. He didn't and didn't even try till the absolute last minute ( guess he thought he could be the hero on the white horse) The failure is his.

    I don't agree. I also don't agree with the Gangs scheme.

    These are separate issues that are being discussed.

    The House caved to just about everything the Dems were pushing for, and they passed their side of the deal. It was the Dems in the Senate who crammed DACA into mix and are shutting down the Government because Republicans won't cave to the Blackmail.

    It's clear to me the Dems have no intention of dealing with DACA. That was proved by Durbin's treachery. It's clear Schumer doesn't care about funding government, or he wouldn't be trying to cram DACA into the CR process.

    This shutdown is 100% on the shoulders of the Dems. Hence even many of their MSM partners are pointing fingers at Schumer's Shutdown.

    So, want to try to prove me wrong, or do you just want to keep on taking cheap shots at Trump?

    Again, Trump had told Congress, including all these slime-bag Democrats, RINO's, and real Republicans, way back in early September, to get to work on DACA, because the issue would be brought up for a complete overhaul in March 2018. But the treacherous, scum-sucking Democrats used the time and the opportunity to make certain there was a government shutdown instead!. It's so bad now that, frankly, if Trump invoked the War Powers Act and thus disabled all these treasonous, treacherous congressional Democrat conspiracists, a lot of us could understand the purpose and validity in doing it. Why? A President's Oath of Office reads, in part, "...to defend the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC!"

    Hint: any political party that is enthusiastically willing to paralyze and harm the very government of this country, for no real reason other than a bunch of illegal aliens is an enemy of the United States of America! :flagus:
