Immediately release Donald Trump's full tax returns, with all information needed to v

Americans seem to have lost any sense of integrity or honor.. I mean they will do or say anything... They will stoop low. They absolutely don't care about the truth....

I can't ever recall such extensive sloppy slanders.

 

He came into office with his businesses and he has refused to let go of his businesses while in office. Those businesses are exactly what will put him in conflict with the emoluments clause and are conflicts of interest, so they pertain to the situation. The only way to verify the extent of those businesses is through his tax returns. The Ethics office has told him he isn't in compliance and there are conflicts of interest that occurred the moment he took the oath of office. I'm not OK with that.

Waiting for Congress to pass a law will allow Trump to personally enrich himself in office, with impunity, and against the emoluments clause. If you support waiting on a law to be passed, you are tacitly approving of Trump's potential conflicts of interest and violation of the emoluments clause. This isn't about feeling warm and fuzzy. The self-described law and order President needs to obey the law, and the only way to verify he is, is to release his tax return and relinquish control of his businesses.

Obama fudged plenty of questions put to him on that site. They respond, that doesn't mean they have to say what you want to hear.

 

I must be behind the curve. I only heard of 300 being dumped on a Friday a few weeks ago. With the general blacked out sensitive info. But some with classified headers being sent to an outsider. So when did they release the other 27, 700 deleted emails?

In regards to trump and his past tax returns, if there is a law on the books that says he must release them, he would have released them already. I think this releasing returns before a president was elected, during the campaign was a voluntary thing started much later on in our history. He never released them, and the people still elected him. So, why continue to beat this drum? I guess people need jobs so they don't have so much time to be trump ankle biters. Of course you got the Hillary crowd ankle biters and then you have the little dogs who will hook their paws around your leg and dry hump it. Those are even harder to get rid of than the ankle biters. Schumer, but even some of these crooked establishment GOPhers are the leg humpers. They would like to bend him over and do it proper, as they have done to working people, but he will not bend over as Obama did, who stayed on his all fours for 8 years.

As to Trump's tax returns, while running for office, there was no conflict of interest or violation of the emoluments clause. Now that he is President, there is. The only way to know the extent of his foreign holdings and interests, and therefore the potential for corruption and conflict of interests, is his tax returns. If the American people don't know which businesses Trump holds in foreign countries, there is no way to know whether his decisions are based on what is good for the United States of America or Trump's bottom line. It's not like he is so very honest that we can take his word on things.

This issue isn't about left/ right, Democrat/ Republican, Clinton, Obama/ Trump. This is about the integrity of the office and the ability of the American people to know that the President is renegotiating deals in our best interest and not his own.

The tax returns are another failed plot to use ACME dynamite at the bird feed station. He'll zip right past them - ending government funding of PP; reducing the size of government; securing the border; and rebuilding the military - all while they're still wringing their hands waiting for him to take the bait on tax returns.

Trump was the first presidential candidate from a major party since 1976 to insist on hiding his tax returns from the public. Although, he had repeatedly assured voters during the campaign he would release them.

As I have mentioned several times on this forum, I was an IRS agent for many years and know for a fact that a person under audit is NOT enjoined from releasing his/her tax returns. Trump continues to lie and is pampered by the controlled right wing media which can easily refute his ''alternative facts'' at any time.

 

To be fair "We the People" was a useless website and for the record it was shut down by the Obama administration several weeks ago. I remember getting the email. The pattern on that website was always the same. Some topic would reach 100K signatures, Obama would punt the topic to an aide, said aide would pencil whip a non-committed report on the matter, and it would be buried with no real action. The site had become such a joke by 2016 people we're making joke petitions. I remember reaching 100K signatures for a petition calling on the US to build a Death Star. Good times. Same pattern.

Onto the main topic though. Why do we need Trump's taxes? It's not going to change the results of the election. It's not going to pressure him or bully him out of being the President. I mean, it's a non-issue at this point.
