It was meant as a form of humor. Nothing more.

Of course im aware of Jordon's laws towards it, wasn't me that posted a link to it discussing just that? They dont want harsher penalties far more are carried out by Muslims than any others. Perhaps their understanding of Islamic ways such Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2 has something to do with that.

Foreign women are not required to wear the veil in KSA, but do have to cover themeselves in an abaya (the latter requirement depending on the city).

I just want to point out that I am against the fear mongering here in the U.S. about Islam and all Muslims- but that doesn't mean I am unaware of the dangers of radical and extremist Muslims.

What is happening in Mali reminds me a great deal of what happened in Afghanistan when the Taliban took over. But the extremists of Mali are not the ordinary citizens of Turkey or Indonesia.

To me it is a call against radicals and extremists who promote an agenda that only they have the 'correct' way of thinking, and that anyone who believes differently must be punished or disinfranchised or driven out. In this they have more in common with Communist revolutionaries than they have with most Muslims around the world.

Oh and by the way- heard this morning about artists in Greece formally charged with blasphemy for insulting the church. Yes- I am very happy we have seperation of Church and State in the U.S.

It doesn't really matter who says what. The practice of ‘honour killing’ is foreign to Islam and finds absolutely no support in the Holy Quran.

I do agree there are problems of extremism in many Muslim countries. Low literacy rates is a major factor.

Horrible crimes happen in other countries too and are condoned by law. Did you know the practice of Sati (i.e the Hindu custom of the wife burning herself on the funeral pyre on the death of her husband still occurs in some parts of India)?

most chrstians haven't got a clue what shariah law is, or means. Their knowledge of it is linked to sensationalist media stories about severe penalties that are only applied in a few countries, and never across the majority of the muslim world.

shariah law in relation to financial matters is a far more ethical system than the practices that led to the GFC. Such a system applied in westetn financial circles would have saved a lot of people a lot of heartache.

if they really BELIEVE that the Koran is a guide to life, then they are anti-life and while fear is pointless, they are to be hated and not allowed to have any sort of presence in any place that hopes to have peace and freedom, for a fact.

We got this disease from Europeans. However I don't want Islam to predicts me how to live and what to do. America is not a country for Shariah laws.
Who scares? I admit being afraid of this future. I suppose that islamophobia as a phenomenon is a normal reaction to aggressive spreading of religious teachings and culture of Islam.

Is that a vote in favor of restricting their numbers in America to 2% and no more?

As per Dr. Peter Hammond's research?

In exchange for living as a 3rd Class Citizen in America?

    Silly poster!

Use your preferred prefix then add this to it: "have often been, treated with decency, but never as equals."

    Women...

    Homosexuals...

    Blacks...

    Jews...

    Christians...

    Atheists...

Who from the above groups is okay with becoming 3rd Class Citizens under Islamic rule?

"...treated with decency, but never as equals."

so what you are saying is that you have no concept of what I was talking about, and so your response is to accuse me of being silly, rather than either acknowledging that you don't know what I am talking about, or looking it up for yourself.

    silly poster!

I am not afraid of Islam, or murderous pond-scum false prophets like MoHamMad. I am afraid of the base ignorant and idiots that think freedom has ever existed or could exist in Islam (followers of such a book or so-called final "prophet"), and what happens should they obtain critical mass due to base ignorance and worshipers of stupidity:
