First Washington accused Russia of poisoning Navalny with no proof and no logic behind it. Then they sent him back to Moscow knowing he will end up in jail for breaking bail. To top it off, the American Embassy sent out a notice to everyone to notify them where the illegal protests will be held in Russia in defense of Navalny. Imagine if the Russians were to do that here?.

In Syria we have American troops stealing and selling Syria's oil so the Syrian people won't have the money to rebuild their country. In Eastern Europe there's a continuous arms build up, as well as in the Arctic. Then to top it off, Biden brought back into the government all the Russophobes and neo cons. If anyone thinks we're not heading towards a world war they have to be crazy.

This is the "Demonstration Alert" sent out by the US Embassy the day before to notify the protesters where the demonstrations will be held.

    **************************************************************************************

In Moscow, demonstrators plan to gather near Pushkin Square at approximately 1400 and march towards the Kremlin.

In St. Petersburg, demonstrators plan to gather near Senate Square at approximately 1400 and march towards Gostiny Dvor (located on Nevsky Avenue).

In Yekaterinburg, demonstrators plan to gather at the entrance to Dinamo Stadium, 12 Ulitsa Yeryomina at approximately 1400 and march along the embankment of the city lake toward the Drama Theater.

In Perm, demonstrators plan to gather at the intersection of Komsomolskiy Prospekt and Ulitsa Poliny Osipenko at approximately 1400 and march towards Komsomolskiy Prospekt and some other central streets.

In Chelyabinsk, demonstrators plan to gather at Slavy Boulevard at approximately 1400 and march towards Lenin Prospekt to Kurchatov Monument.

In Krasnoyarsk, demonstrators plan to gather in Krasnaya (Red) Square at approximately 1400 and march towards the downtown area.

In Novosibirsk, demonstrators plan to gather at 63 Krasny Prospekt, near House of Officers at approximately 1400 and march towards Lenin Square.

In Omsk, demonstrators plan to gather at Leningrad Square, at the intersection of Karla Marksa Prospekt and Ulitsa Maslennikova at approximately 1400 and march towards Sobornaya (Cathedral) Square.

In Vladivostok, demonstrators plan to gather at the Fighters for Soviet Power Monument on Svetlanskaya Street at 1400.

In Khabarovsk, demonstrators plan to gather at Lenin Square at 1200.

In Ulan Ude, demonstrators plan to gather at Teatralnaya Square at 1400.

In Irkutsk, demonstrators plan to gather at the Square on Ulitsa Uritskogo on the square near the consumer services center “Dom Byta”

The ability of the deep state to control world events is truly astounding, even within Russia
and its nationals in general. Why doesn't Navalny just wear a tin hat to ward off the Deep
    State radio beams?
Reminds me of Mohammed Fayed seeking to charge the Royals for murdering Lady Diana.
We all know he handed that drunk driver the keys to his car, and told him to drive down that
tunnel.. you know. Did Mohammed know that the Deep State was channeling signals into his
head? It's the same as Navalny, his pilots and everyone involved in this case. Just one question
though, if the Deep State wants to get Putin, why not beam a message into his head and tell
him to go drown himself? Does Putin wear a tin hat too?

Russia thanks those that defend them

Russia has been hacking our social media for years, yet not a word from the same people defending them now

How do you arrive at this conclusion? It seems you're saying that our government is controlling Navalny. I've seen no indication of that. What I HAVE seen over the past 4 + years is Trump attempting to avoid new entanglements and earnestly trying to draw down from the ones we are already mired in. Biden sends in fresh troops literally on day one of his presidency. I agree that poking the Bear is dangerous and I think re-engaging with the mullahs in Iran is insane as well. It's like the "Deep State" has a plan to create chaos that they can then use to take more of our freedoms. Meanwhile, the media is diverting attention from such important events by flogging the Orange Man Bad mantra. I have a dread that 2021 will be worse than 2020.

I don't understand. Are you actually supporting aggressive moves against Putin and the Russian military? Surely not?

Payback for what ? Let us hope we do not get "Payback" for all our regime change activities - meddling in the elections of foreign nations - computer hacking and so on.

"A minor Opening Move" What a laugh .. we got some big plans to replace Putin do we ? What is the next move and the one after that.

Good, a Russia without Putin and a truly representative democracy would be great news for all.

Russia hacks into everything including telephone calls, because that's what the FSB does. Unlike the former KGB, as well as the CIA and MI6, they collect intelligence. If only we could do the same and stop involving ourselves in other countries and paying dissidents and crooked politicians to start color revolutions. Can you imagine the uproar if we found out that it was the Russian government and not George Soros' NGO's encouraging movements like Antifa and Black Lives Matter?

It doesn't matter though what the American Embassy did, the Russian people aren't stupid. There are 14 million people in Moscow, so 5,000 who are mostly teenagers are certainly not going to overthrow the government. Don't you think though that the split we now have in the US, might be a just retribution for what we have been doing in countries such as Syria, Iraq, Libya and Serbia to break them up?

If you pay attention to what's going on in the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean, you'll realize how close we are to war and that it's going to engulf everyone. As an example, 3 days ago a French warship and jet that was within the territorial waters of Cyprus a neutral country, were chased away by Turkish jets.

The US in the meantime not to be outdone, told Cyprus to break its treaty with Russia and not allow its ships to port in Cyprus. Mind you now if Cyprus was to do that, they would be open to an invasion by Turkey. They still have 5 thousand tanks and about 35 thousand troops on the occupied section of Cyprus.

In the meantime in Libya, the Russian mercenaries Wagner group has built fortifications protecting Hafter's control of half the country from Turkish forces. Then there are the problems between the Kurds, Turks, Syrians, and Americans in Eastern Syria.

All these things though are minor compared to the claims and threats by Turkey towards Cyprus and Greece. Erdogan, who is goaded on by his military and the opposition nationalists is now claiming not only Greek waters but the Greek islands as well.

As for the rest of the Mediterranean, Erdogan now considers it a Turkish Sea and will start researching everywhere for oil and gas. I guess they tried to confirm their control when they chased away the French warship. France in the meantime will be supplying Greece with Raphael jets and warships since war seems inevitable.

Do you think the US Embassy has a responsibility to protect American citizens in Russia by informing them where not to go due to protest that could turn violent?

Uhhh, they had that in Russia during the 90's under Washington's man Yeltsin. That was when the Harvard boys generously offered their services to help Russia convert to a capitalist system. Shares were given to the people, but they couldn't eat shares so the foreign banks financed criminals to buy up the shares for peanuts. All of Russia's wealth was being shipped to some predator countries, while the Russian people went hungry.

As for Washington, Reagan wasn't in power anymore, and the others being of a greedy and deceptive nature decided to split up Russia and control its resources. But as the saying goes, man might have his plans, but God has his own, because by chance a bureaucrat known for his integrity in Russia became President. Yeltsin chose Putin to replace him because he feared his children might suffer when he left office, and Vladimir Putin was the only man he could trust.

As for the oligarchs, Putin told them they could hold on to their ill gotten wealth if they pay their taxes and not run for political office. Most refused to and ran out, and they're the ones that started the anti Putin propaganda with the hope of going back and continue the thievery. Tough luck!

Unlike some others in our sphere,
to me Russia is: 'Mother Dear'.

So if you try to break her heart
and vilely try to grab a part,

through devious means with lies and guile
which as we know is your style.

Then also know you'll suffer ill
and find it a very bitter pill.

As others have who came before
and didn't know what was in store

    for them - Jeannette

This year will be worse, and the American embassy notifying the protesters where they will be held occurred as soon as Biden became president. This doesn't mean though that Navalny who attended a seminar in this country isn't on some payroll? If not the CIA, then maybe the MI6, Soros' or some other Western institution. The Russian government is now checking into it to see where his funds are coming from.

What I did read was that Intel agents were with Navalny during his time in Berlin. As for Navalny being poisoned, the hospital recognized that the Russian hospital saved his life and if he was poisoned he would have died, as well as those who were with him. Yet they refused to turn over any papers, nor did anyone else get sick.

What I noticed lately, is that Russia instead of responding equally to Washington's provocations, is getting fed up and becoming more aggressive. What does Washington want a war? All the Russiaphobes are back again with Biden.

Anyway the police broke into Navalny's office and are examining all his papers. He was told not to come back, or he would be jailed since there were crimes pending - yet he did.

Something about Navalny's eyes scare me? Does anyone else see it.

No one at the time knew where the protests would be except the American Embassy. Strange!

You need to look up at the horizon. Confronting Putin is going to be a process. He got away with just about everything over the past four years, but that has now stopped cold. As for meddling in russian elections, that is Vlad's domain.

But no worries, America has a far bigger imagination AND capability. All it takes is will and focus and Vlad and the gang are going to be increasingly uncomfortable in the next few years.

As for strategy. Are you aware of exactly how many levers of power projection are available to an American President who has a friggin' clue of how to play in the world arena? Are you aware of the HUGE economic imbalance between the two nations? Are you aware of Russia's utter dependence on oil and gas exports? There is a vast array of options available to Biden et.al. and a hunger to even the score.

Perhaps you can use your gifts to suss out some the the many and various punitive actions that could be aimed DIRECTLY at Vladdie and his cronies.

Do you find it hard to believe someone who knew when and where the protests would take place and is pro-US would inform the US ahead of the protests?

Trump didn't have much of a say in what our State Department was doing - especially towards Russia. The Russiaphobes made sure of that by starting the Russia collusion conspiracy theory. One minute Trump would say he's removing the troops from Syria, and a few days later that changed. I didn't realize fully what was going on, until a site in Serbia said they will be off for a week because the departments in our government were fighting one another and they didn't want to get entangled. How frightening for the world.

More recently Trump would blame China and Iran for hacking into the elections and not include Russia, while Pompeo would add Russia - as if Russia would want Biden and the Russophobes back in office. Anyway from what I know, this will be a very bad year for us and the world. So much depends on us. As we go, so does the world.

Had the protests been legal and at an area designated for them, then it's understandable to tell the Americans not to go there. But they were illegal and no one knew where they would be taking place until they were informed by the American Embassy.

Anyway there is something wrong with Navalny. He has only a 3% following yet he persists. Even the communist and nationalist parties are more of a competition to Vladimir Putin than he is.

The only worth Navalny is to those who pay him would be as a martyr like Boris Nemtsov who was shot near the Kremlin for its propaganda value. Yet Navalny doesn't have the sense to realize it. I know he's a diabetic and that's what they treated him for in Russia - and saved his live, but I'm beginning to wonder if he's drugged? There is something about his eyes that frightens me.

yeah I saw the anti-Putin videos on you tube pop up at exactly the same time the protests started up again... kinda predictable since it's now a week after the deep state inauguration. When you read the deep state posts in this thread... you can see the saliva pooling...we're back to vile, after four years of rest

He and his band of Oligarchs have been sanctioned and obstructed for 4 years. People who still try to run that "Trump is Putin's Bitch", scam, aren't to be taken seriously any longer. The world may not avoid nuclear war at some point but I still think it's something not to be enabled through stupid pissing contests.

I believe someone who is pro-American knew the protest was taking place and informed the US Embassy to keep Americans away. Anything speculation other than that is just conspiracy thinking. As for the guys eyes, if he were drugged they'd be dilated and red but they're not. His pupils are normal for being in daylight.

No the people who say Trump was putin's bitch are still 100% accurate. You might want to forget about it, but as a child of the cold war, I've been paying attention. And the risk of nuclear war is nothing in comparison to yesteryear, now its but a very remote possibility.

Consequences. Vlad has a pile comin' due.

There is no proof that Putin was messing with our electoral process - and perhaps there will be some day. It is a fact however that the US have been huge election meddlers over the last number of decades.

Indeed the President has many levers - the question to you was - what is the next move.
