The government has an obligation to follow the Constitution and they are not doing this. Life, Liberty and the POH, remember. They should not force anyone to pay for anyones birth control and that includes abortion. It should be illegal for all the obvious reasons.
Paying for birth control and abortions is another debate. Again though, if the birth control has been prescribed by a doctor to treat something or for purposes other than contraception, and if the abortion is necessary for health reasons, the government insurance should pay for it like it would pay for other medically necessary procedures. If it were up to me, in an effort to compromise(key word is compromise), I'd be willing to say that abortions not necessary for the mother's health could be thought of as "elective" and not covered. When it comes to religious groups having to cover contraception on their insurance, I don't think religious beliefs should ever trump a person's doctor and the medicines they've prescribed.
Any woman could make excuses gee I have a zit need birth control. Abortion kills a living human being. No taxpayer should foot the bill for that. For me there is no comprise with you you are for abortion throughout the entire nine months.

Since you are so good at citing statistics Junkie could you tell me how many abortionists have been killed the past thirty years .? last year? Millions of abortions happening all over the world and in this country .at millions of clinics .and how many have been killed?
I don't think it's been very many at all. I haven't had coffee yet, and a quick search netted me no results so I'll go out on a limb and say that, at least in this country, it's probably been a pretty small number over the years. What's always struck me as sad is that people kill the abortion doctors at all. It's the woman having the abortion and making the choice, not the doctor, but you can't kill the mother so the doctor is the next big thing. It's sort of like having a whipping boy.
Why are you defending murder? Because apparently you think there is an insignificant number of them? Every day doctors are intimidated and fear for their lives because their names and addresses are published, and people like you are fomenting violence against them. And this justifies murder for you? Good, then when everyone is the same race we can stop worrying about race altogether and worry about more important stuff like what we're going to do when the oil runs out or the Earth decides it's had enough pollution and throws up all over us.
Bottom line, what society decides is moral and legal will never, long term, include a right of it's members (in this case women with normal pregancies, 85% of them) to exterminate said society. When your body is the life line for society to the next generation you can bet your bottom dollar society is not going to let you cut it.

The more one recognizes 'race' the more 'racist' one becomes. That goes for 'Hispanic' 'Black' 'White' or any other group of people seeking to self-segregate. If one insists on labeling oneself with a skin color then one must dawn the yoke of racism. It's really as simple as that.

Again, define 'white' for me, are you referring to skin color? If that is so then I defy you to find a person with totally white skin color. Even albinos have a red-tint. You see when you start playing the 'racist' game you lose every time to other racists. In America, we are all Americans not a collection of racist cultures. Whatever differences there are should be celebrated and folks that want to marry within their own culture is fine as are those who want to intermingle. The problem we have is racism and that keeps some of us from being Americans first.
I think part of the problem, specifically with blacks, is that they cannot merge/blend into the white culture, as other minorities have done, and do.
