There is no reason for them to try and be competitive, when you have no choice in where you get care. It’s why healthcare can’t operate in a free market.

I’m happy to school you on this topic, like I’ve done on every other we’ve engaged in.

yep, understood... doesnt really help because most of the incidentles, meds, experts prices change regularly... what good is it to know just the price of walkin in, by time your visit us over, 10 different consultations could have taken place with multiple specialists, completely blowing past the posted er visit price and the x-ray...

anywho, the good thing about being in/near a metropolis is the er's treat everyone whether or not they have ins.

deal with the debt after they save your life, it can be settled for pennies on the dollar ;)

if they abused people in emergency they would be hated and no one would go there in non emergency or near emergency ,nobody would work for them and competition will destroy them. Do you understand now?

i understand better than you do. Healthcare can not operate in a free market, because you have no choice where you get care.

Obamacare has pricing per incident just so that cant happen. You have published prices in a comparable way just like Japan. Do you understand?

I just explained to you that you do have choice in non emergency Do you understand now??

Do you think hospital would survive with only emergency business and reputation as abusive. Nobody would pay bill either and courts would not be so inclined to help.

welp, its kinda foolish to pay anything above what the ins pays, let them sue then offer a dollar a month for life...

btw, the aca also restricts your options for treatment... one of obumma's gifts to 'his' peeps...

Which is irrelevant. Non emergency care isn’t expensive. Emergency care is.

You can’t not pay a bill because you think the hospital abusive. Lol, where do you get your whacky ideas?

You can pretend that advanced democracies that have achieved universal healthcare coverage at far less cost are not free - or that the US is less free because its extremely popular Medicare provides coverage for 55 million Americans - if that is what your ideological dogma makes you believe, of course. The reality is different.

We're already running a huge deficit. Throw in Medicare for all and we can multiply the deficit by two or three times. We'll have the debt at $30 to $50 trillion in a few years. And if interest rates go up, the party's over. We default.
