1) This stroke of "justice genius" presumes racism & racial profiling is taking place based on stats alone, not the core issue.
2) the solution (threating schools) isn't addressing the "why", only the "that it occurs" and when they take current disciplinary actions, in their opinion, it's too harsh for one reason, because "minority" kids are being disproportionally affected. (???????????????????)
3) I'm not reading anything regarding if the current policies effectively protect the majority of the students. Why wouldn't that be part of the conversation? Isn't that what disciplinary policies are suppose to do?

So every public school teacher in America comes from a poor family that can't afford a private tutor for the SAT exam?

We all know better than that.

Besides private tutors are not the only way to prepare.

They are used most often for kids seeking admittance in the most elite schools.

Plenty of kids get high SAT scores just by being good students for the 12 to 14 years prior to taking the test.

Not many of those kids become public teachers though.

They can make it in the private sector on merit and do not need the shelter of a guaranteed job and early retirement in the public school system.
