My experience is that libs will raise the race issue first.

For instance, many liberals have a deeply held assumption that all white conservatives are racists and only want to cut welfare because as libs see it the dumb conservatives think most people are black.

So libs will play their trump card by telling us "OH YEAH! MOST PEOPLE ON WELFARE ARE WHITE!"

"Betcha didn't know that, huh?"

But we do know.

 

What is minority school? Haven't you heard all schools are supposed to be fully intergraded. President Eisenhower (R) made that a law in 1957. (See: http://teacher.scholastic.com/barrier/hwyf/mpbstory/integration.htm) Gov. Faubus (Dem) found that out the hard way. But we all know that Dem's can't walk the walk and just mouth equality.

 

The funny thing is that I went to intergraded schools in the 40's and 50's. Even college was intergraded. Only in Democratic Party held States and Counties was segregation used.

People like holder use racism (exclusively aimed at whites because blacks are victims) to excuse ALL black social problems. This new directive is clearly a step backward for education, it sends a horrible message about accountability, and sacrifices school safety to boot. .

 

I went to school in a district that was forced by a federal judge to integrate, which meant busing inner city kids to our school. I had five friends murdered before they reached age 18, and I fought my way home from school at least a half dozen times.

 

Yes, but you see according to the general thrust of leftwing philosophy your friends and yourself DESERVED what you got because of the color of your skin and the fact that (possibly) one of your distant ancestors might have had something peripherally to do with slavery . . . or at least breathed the same air . . . and by even daring to raise the issue YOU ARE A RACIST HATER. Pretty neat ideologically-based racket they have going on there isn't it?

 

Five sounds like a lot of murders in a high school. My BSdar is pinging.

 

Three of my friends who were killed were black. Five kids, two different high schools in the same district. At one time, the zip code was the "deadliest" in the country.

I honestly think that if you let kids beat each other up just because black and mestizo kids are doing most of it, it will only increase racial animosity towards them and worsen their status in the long run. The minority within the minority is just not worth building policy around.

Well... I have a bit of experience as a white kid in all black schools, and in all boys catholic schools, and year in a HS similar to the one you describe.

I am going way out on a limb, and guessing you didn't have a lot of black friends... so... we are left with 5 white kids murdered (if we are to believe the premise of your post) by bussed in black kids. Now... again, this is just my experience, outside of school functions... these groups were not often intermingled. The chances that you knew ALL 5 people murdered, while possible, is somewhat unlikely unless they were all run over at the same time or something... so this would suggest there were MORE than 5 murders, or you adopted some as friends after their murder because you knew who they were. Most of the violence I witnessed or was aware of from other schools in the area happened at football games etc, and rarely did anyone DIE.

I am sorry for any loss you suffered... I just find that a VERY difficult story to swallow on its face.

 

Typical liberal. When are they going to realize the root of the problem and address that? Liberals are not fixers...they are feel-gooders. Turning your back on disrespect, cutting class, and even dress code is not doing these young people any good whatsoever! Especially if he is going asking them for special favor because they are minorities. Can society spoon feed these people any more than they already are??? Personal responsibility is the only thing that will fix this. Teach that from the top, and you may actually get somewhere.
