so you equate success with the KKK, huh, since you can't back your argument to the contrary with anything like stats or empirical evidence, huh?

Read again, I said "enough support"

You know damn well that there's a large rump of right wing racists that would NEVER vote for a black man as president. Why pretend other wise?

Well, it's not like that poster backed up his argument with "stats or empirical evidence". Saying you went to an all white school where everyone supposedly graduated and went to college means squat. People can say whatever they want online.

I knew exactly what I was saying, and it was correct. West can throw the entire black community under the bus, and it still won't make a difference to the far right wing base.

I guess you didn't bother reading the thread:

"The SAT scores of future teachers are among the lowest of all occupations. SAT is a good correlate of intelligence."

Sorry, but Alan West does not have to be black to be a crackpot. Michelle Bachman, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul all come to mind.

You're Uncle Tom schtick is only a weak attempt to put words in other people's mouth.

I don't like West because he is a crackpot, and because he allows himself to be used as a front man for various right wing fundraising scams (some of which pay him, others don't).

    Exactly.

Obama for instance may be sane but certainly not competent.

He's a moron and white conservatives would never support that guy.

I think I already answered that.

Dumb people cannot score well on the SAT.

But there are other reasons beyond simple stupidity that can account for not getting high scores.

Throw the community under the bus by way of he and Cosby and a few other genuine leaders saying such EVIL things as, "Stop whinning like mewling infants and take advantage of your opportunities to get ahead in life?" Under the bus stuff along those lines? Oh poor babies!

    Genuine leaders, eh?

They are "genuine leaders" in the minds of right wingers because they say stuff right wingers like to hear.

When a black person says something right wingers don't want to hear (like pointing out their racism), they are accused of being "race agitators", heh. Funny how that works out.

You mean like Jackson, Sharpton, Harris-Perry, and Obama who've all demonstrated race-baiting or race agitation activities in the past? Yeah I guess it does suck when one of them drops shorts like that before the entire nation. "Hymie Town;" Tawana Brawly, The Romney adopted child incident, oh and the glorious need to create the first ever Beer Summit and the, "If I had a son he would look like Trayvon," event. Yep race-baiters and race agitators one and all.

I can't agree with you more. Today's schools are warehouses for children and not places of learning. The children that learn are those children where the parents are behind the pupil/students showing interest and participation in the teaching and learning. I see it in my own family and my grandchildren.

Maybe they all learned their so called "race agitating" tactics from Ronald "I believe in states rights" Reagan?

If you want to watch a true group of so called "race agitators", turn on Fox News. But of course, they say what right wingers like to hear, so they manage to avoid getting labeled "race agitators" by right wingers.

I wish I could remember how many times conservatives have been accused of racism because they want to cut welfare.

That's not a race issue but libs play the race card when they don't get what they want.

My point is that most blacks are on the wrong side of most issues and that is what white conservatives disapprove of not their skin color.

Yes; an education plays a vital role in shaping who and what the child will become in the future . . . which is why the Left eventually took it over in the public schools systems and which is why across the board such systems immediately went right down the toilet. So it goes.

They are on the wrong side of most issues, eh?

Well, hell, it's good that they have brilliant conservatives trying to show them the way, eh?

(Shrug) You are going to believe what you are going to believe but it looks like the tide is turning in regards to the Left's increasingly blatant examples of racism and bigotry in their ranks and the gratuitous play of the Race Card for EVERYTHING and for all the damn time. The Left is going to have to learn how to adapt and evolve . . . which is rather amusing when you stop to consider the implications of that.

You are over thinking this. The two correlate. Why they correlate isn't that important. The cohort of public school teachers comprise the bottom quintile of college graduates in SAT scores and >>> intelligence.

Translation: So called "race agitators" don't bother me as long as it's a right winger. They say what I like to hear, and that's all that matters.

The first thing to go in education was control and discipline without the two children cannot be taught. Then you have Progressives protecting the pedophiles in our schools. An example of that is the convicted pedophile attempting to get his pay and retirement benefits. In the city of New York we have schools that warehouse these "teachers" who are regularly paid but do not teach.

They were both liberals and segregationist Democrats.

Robert Byrd for instance was a flaming liberal till the day he died.

    Al Gore Sr.

    A lib.
