Obama Cuts Could Make Air Force Smallest Ever And Make Navy Smallest Since 1915

Cuts are certainly in order, but I think most Americans would agree that reducing our forces to pre-WWII levels is going a bit too far...

In fact...I've met a few British and Canadian soldiers who've had to go to battle with you big military and ya know what...to a man they say...Never Again!

Your Big Military can't even defeat a handful of nomads.

A military that size is about perfect to defend our territory from foreign attack and still maintain an offensive strike capability. But it will be too small for the kind of rampant interventionism we have now.

#1) These are not Pres Obama's cuts, The House of Representatives holds the purse strings.
#2) It is a fiscal contingency plans, should the Budget Super Committee fail to come up with an agreement.

And if people want to work for EPA or DOE, we should keep them on just because they want to work?

 

No, the EPA and DOE are not things the federal government is supposed to be involved in. But nice try at moving goal posts.

 

We need to cut military spending to the bone. It's dead weight and is bankrupting us.
