It's about time. This issue has been very divisive and immigrants to live and work in the USA should have something to show for it other than just wages.

Here's what I think we should do. As soon as he mentions what's he's doing.....EVERYONE place a call to the White House and shut down the lines. Same with email.....shut it down. :)

Republican politicians remained steadfastly glued to the pot regarding the comprehensive immigration reform that the American public supports.

By doing what is Congress's job for them after their failure to fulfill their responsibility, the President is inciting the GOP's corporate elite to slap down the uppity TPs once again.

Live via the nut jobs, die via the nut jobs:

Maybe, Big Boy Christie has a tent with a bucket in Jersey where he can keep her isolated form the public - like Dubya.

How would "shutting down the lines" help anything? Obama has made it crystal-clear that he doesn't CARE what "We, the People" think or care about anything! Since his re-election in 2012, he has ruled the country by unilaterally-issued decrees, with his "pen and phone". Shut the phone lines down? Why would he care? He only uses a phone for telling other people what to DO....

Ha! But one notices that Obama's decided to do this well before those newly elected GOP House and Senate members get sworn in. There's not much they can do in fact until that happens and Obama knows that and the pro-Obama MSM knows that. Only our fanatical Obama supporter posters DON'T know that . . . because (God help them) they are nothing but feeeeeeeeeeeeelings in place of rational thought.

You mean illegal immigrants right? I guess all the people trying to become citizens the legal way can just go F themselves according to leftists right? Gee imagine years of trying to become a citizen and finding out it was all for nothing.
When we impeach this traitor there should be no surprise on anyones part at all. Nixon resigned over something that had Obama done wouldn't have even make the paper.
Im surprised he hasn't Bretbarted Gruber yet.

Yeah I hear ya, but my fuzzy prediction is that dems are well aware that Obama is poison and has cost them dearly. They also know Obama doesn't care what he does to them because he is all done after this term and that may be his slippery slope. If dems were smart they should shred him on this to show us they are not of the same cloth as this turd burglar.

This has to be one of the biggest, most overreaching executive orders of all time.

Even Obama's nut huggers have to admit that.

Ah but there's where things get interesting. No more than the spineless GOP leadership (generally spineless, that is) will the bulk of the Dem leadership find the political fortitude to officially turn against their president lest the MSM begins calling THEM hate-filled racists. So instead they are going to gamble everything on the roll of the dice with Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren (or yet another personality to be announced) in hopes that their sagging political fortunes will change despite the political albatross around their collective neck that is Barack Obama.

Yes I know. I keep reminding them. Remember when they got all hoity toity and tried to tell us we cant call them illegals?
In any case after tomorrow the United States will be taught an important lesson in why you don't vote for an idiot.

Totally agree that's why I caveated the "fuzzy" prediction. It is not out of the realm of possibilities that repubs forget why exactly we just elected them rather than fear being called *gasp* racists.
Its going to be interesting to see which side blinks...for sure. It could be both for all we know.

Yep, I am going to work at emotionally detaching where national politics is concerned from now until the presidential election of 2016 arrives and is over and done with. That's because I think that between now and then Barack Obama is going to remove the gloves and openly become the radical extremist and inveterate nation-hating socialist that he was trained to be by all those early mentors of his. So things are going to be getting very ugly indeed. But there's absolutely nothing that I can do about it nor indeed any of our PF politics posters, and so I am going to WORK at having a generally happy attitude and laugh like hell as Obama methodically defecates on any chance that Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren might ever have had of winning the 2016 presidency.

It is almost a certainty that Obama's increasingly horrific antics will guarantee not only a GOP presidency but a GOP control of the Legislative Branch after 2016. Let's just hope that when that happens they don't get stupid on the nation and pull the same sort of boneheaded stunts that got the Dem leadership removed from Legislative control in 2010.

The conservative base is about to learn how impotent their party leaders are in stopping Obama. They're going to be angry, frustrated and disappointed that Obama hadn't learned a thing from the drubbing they just gave him.

You would be wrong again, but that's nothing new. Reagan signed the Simpson Mazzoli act which was passed thru both houses of Congress, not by presidential fiat. Something our s#!t for brains president and apparently you do not understand.

Which is worse for the economy: an American on welfare or an illegal immigrant who works a full time job?

That depends entirely on how many family members that illegal has and how many services they are accessing.

Many of us expected all along he'd plan this announcement to coincide with the Ferguson announcement. Obama tomorrow night....followed by Friday morning's Ferguson announcement. This wasn't coincidental. He thinks the rioting there will give him cover from the media/press.

What if Obama did absolutely nothing on immigration for the next 2 years... What was the Congress' big plan?

When was the last major act on comprehensive immigration reform that significantly changed the status quo in immigration?

Even if one goes back to 1986, that did not fundamentally change anything about immigration in the US other than amnesty. Since before Reagan, has our immigration methods and polices fundamental changed in any meaningful way?

If President did absolutely nothing on immigration... What would be different? If Obama EOs that parents of american citizen children are not to be deported...how does that fundamentally change immigration in America? It does not. It is a miniscule harm or benefit.

Ooops. Apparently the Obama administration has pissed off that the mainstream media are NOT going to cover his prime time speech...and they are giving them an earful. Better be careful, Obama......if you (*)(*)(*)(*) them off too much, they just might start covering you fairly...instead of helping you to cover up.

"The White House is exasperated with the major broadcast networks – ABC, CBS and NBC -- for skipping out on President Barack Obama’s Thursday primetime address on his executive actions on immigration.

“In 2006, Bush gave a 17 minute speech that was televised by all three networks that was about deploying 6000 national guard troops to the border. Obama is making a 10 minute speech that will have a vastly greater impact on the issue. And none of the networks are doing it. We can’t believe they were aggrieved that we announced this on Facebook,” a senior administration official told POLITICO.

When the president wants to make a primetime address, White House officials will reach out to the big networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS, to gauge whether they would consider running the speech live before putting in a formal request for airtime.

But on Wednesday morning, with plans underway for a Thursday night address on Obama’s plans to issue executive actions on some of the most sweeping immigration reform in decades, those feelers came back with a negative report. None of the major networks wanted to take time away from their primetime programming for Obama’s 8p.m. speech. So the administration did not send out a formal request to the networks and took to Facebook to publicize the speech with a special video message from Obama along with a link to the livestream."

Obama still doesn't know what he's going to say. He's waiting to see what people say before his big announcement so he can figure just how far he can or can't go on his own. He just makes up S**t as he goes.
