That makes ZERO sense. How does a GOP comprehensive bill effect his executive orders unless they try to STOP the executive action...and he threatens to veto their bill. OR their bill includes the executive actions....in which case they are doing what their Base HATES....

unless the only reason the Base hates what Obama doesn on immigration is...because it's Obama doing it???

 

The entire concept of the EO is a danger to the Republic itself. It was meant to be used during those times of absolute necessity, when Congress either wasn't available or the times didn't allow for congressional procedure. Now, it's been overextended to a dangerous level which supercedes our government.

 

Maybe Obama is going to surprise everyone and order federal and state law enforcement agencies to begin a process of enforcing current immigration laws nation wide? No? Yes?

 

I, for one, fully support our President in his tireless efforts to further sandbag and slit the throats of his own party. Thanks Obama!

No I didn't. IMO, if a large percentage of democrats are against amnesty, unilateral executive action against their wishes would a) sandbag the party and b) slit the political throats of those democrats who dare support it. I never said it would destroy the party. I will say that O'Bama's actions have been a detriment to the D side, as was evidenced by the most recent midterms.

This is Obama going simian feces. Obama's a case study on why electing progressive politicians is dangerous. There is absolutely nothing good that can come to the country from giving amnesty of millions of uneducated, low-skilled, fast breeding welfare recipients. None. This is all about helping out the Democrat Party.

Reagan believed the Democrats, signed the bill, and the Democrats immediately abandoned the effort. Reagan was later to say it was the greatest disappointment of his presidency....

Obama has no intention of working with the new Congress at all! He thinks of himself as the great empowered dictator with his "pen and phone", and he will do whatever he damned well pleases.
