Rush's "joke" reminds me of the rowdy wedding reception that's in full swing, the food and the drink are flowing, the dancing is wild and the behaviour likewise, until a voice rises above the din;

I listened to Rush for 2 days during the last week. I believe I know why he apologized. You see, a couple of times, he gave me the clear impression that he did not know how BC pills work. He either confused them with morning after pills or thought they were taken only in the event of a sexual encounter rather than every day. I do not know this for sure. I did get that impression. It would be easy for a man of any age to not understand how these pills work. Now, given that belief, he would do the math and it would appear that she was having sex 3 times a day or so -- ergo, slut. Then, once he was made to understand, he knew he was wrong.


I would like to make something else clear. I am not insulted every time a person insults a woman. Stop lumping all women together. THAT is what is truly insulting to me.

 

Who cares if he was sincere, he shouldn't have apologized anyway. He stated the truth.

I did. I listened to Colmes and Malloy today. I honestly can't believe they cash a paycheck for what is really, really awful radio. Not that it's awful from an ideological POV so much (it is), but it's intellectually vacant. They offer nothing in the way of ideas. Colmes is an affront on every level. Malloy is merely a simpleton.
