    Hogwash! He got some phone calls from Republicans and sponsors who told him he'd better cut the crap or he was gone.

    What a forken excuse for an apology! I notice he didn't apologize for telling her he wanted her to film her sexual encounters and send it to him so he could watch. The man is an absolutely disgusting pig and I don't know how ANYBODY could defend his filthy mind and mouth - but I see there are.

    No checkmate. PP Rush is not an entertainer. He's a RW activist and ideologue whose mission is to foment hatred and divisiveness between the American people - something he's done very successfully.

    Trying to excuse him as a "comedian" or an "entertainer" or "a good man who thought about it and realized he went too far" just doesn't cut it. The man is a misogynist pig and anybody who's ever listened to him for 5 minutes knows that.

    This is the first election cycle I can remember that they haven't been able to distract from poor candidates with poor records and nothing done for the country as a party with their "social issues" - abortion, gay marriage, voter fraud, ACORN, Swiftboat Liars, and the like and instead have been caught with their pants down on the wrong side of EVERYTHING. They've managed to alienate most major voter blocks already and just keep digging their hole deeper.

    The frustration must be mindboggling. :handshake:

    The health plans for students are through health insurance companies, and are NOT paid for by the school.

    The STUDENTS have to PERSONALLY pay for the policies, and the Catholic Church has NO BUSINESS sticking its nose into the issue.

    That just made me think about something - did Palin ever call Obama and apologize to him for calling him a terrorist and inciting people at her rallies to hate him and scream "Kill him!"? McCain's people made her stop because it was reflecting back on the campaign and was such a huge embarrassment but I never heard if either she or McCain ever apologized for her.

    It wasn't just PP Rush. It was the whole right wing - other than those up for reelection in dicey districts. And I doubt he thinks he's "important" - he just felt bad for Fluke to be the target of such a rancid (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) because she was supporting his policy re BC.
