Would have been more useful if the had supplied the intel BEFORE 9/11...

It's possible. He did give a good response, though. Among other things, I get from it that he speaks from a measure of personal experience with the Saudis.

Indeed. I've been to the KSA a few times. It's so depressing watching women walking around in those bathrobes knowing they have no freedom or rights.

Except for the fact that most of the plotters were Saudi.

You have never been in a position to talk with them or visit them in their homes... so you assume a great deal.

    - - - Updated - - -

Nope.. They were from several countries and six are still unknown because they were using stolen identities.

It's no secret that women can't even drive without a "chaperone"

That's a lie and it has been demonstrated to you so many time that at this point you don't have any credibility left on this subject.

The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda, and 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia.[1] The others were from the United Arab Emirates (2), Egypt and Lebanon. The hijackers were organized into four teams, each led by a pilot-trained hijacker with three or four "muscle hijackers" who were trained to help subdue the pilots, passengers, and crew.

Lol what the heck are you talking about? I lived there.

I lived in a nation where women were forced to walk around with male escorts. Where women are not even afforded the freedom to drive. Where being a homosexual could get you prison time, or even attempting to go on a homosexual date! Illegal!

ISIS, KSA, Al Qaeda. All the same.

I will think the Saudi's are serious when they put serious troops on the ground and perhaps are aided by Egypt with troops in Aden so as to drive the Iranian backed terrorists back to the boonies...

Most have drivers... Women own and operate more businesses than men and they make up 67% of university students... Why are you so hell bent to change the topic??

    - - - Updated - - -

The Saudis have pulled off a ten country coalition.

    - - - Updated - - -

Women walk around all the time without escorts.. LOLOL.. How long were you there in Riyadh... Maybe six months?

Six of the high jackers were using identity papers of people who were still alive .. They were interviewed after the attack.

Do you have Alzheimer's? You've asked me where and when I lived there like a million times. I've answered every time.

LOL. You know what you NEVER answer? Is your feelings on this case:

In 2014, a 24-year-old Saudi Arabian man was sentenced to three years detention and 450 lashes after a Medina court found him guilty of “promoting the vice and practice of homosexuality,” after he was caught using Twitter to arrange dates with other men.[17]

Why don't you post the name of the guy who was convicted.....

If you had been in Arabia 10 or 20 years, you would have some validity.. but your experience was of an ex military guy without his family working as a contractor for the short term.

Good on the KSA. Everything must be done to counter Persian influence on the Middle East.

International law isn't ... since there is no authority able for real to endorse it ...

This said, I consider what is happening in Yemen an Islamic matter, a local conflict generated by the contact between the Shiaa sphere of influence with the Saudi Arabian one.

And frankly speaking Italy is with Saudi Arabia about this: what are Shiaa doing there?

No sane person would spend 10 to 20 years living in a prison. Plus, what do you know about the work I did, where I stayed, and who I stayed with ;-)

The only people who defend Saudis, are Saudis.

Must be even more horrific for innocent foreigners who visit Saudi looking for a good time. Instead, they might end up in a place that has banned alcohol, or morality police to "beat the gay out of you".

Can I ask you a question? What concern is it of yours whether homosexuality in Saudi Arabia is legal? Do you own it? The only thing you should be concerned about is that your own nation is supporting Saudi Arabia's illegal invasion of a sovereign nation and people are dying and being maimed because of it.
