    Clapper "high confidence" got us into an armed conflict that's lasted nearly 20 years, and costs running into trillions. The human costs run even higher. It's a real shame the DNC is chock full of technologically challenged buffoons who create unsecure digital records of their partys malfeasance and dishonesty. From the DNC server, to Hillary's bathroom, and the secure networks of congress, the democrats have betrayed our national security, as well as their own, at virtually EVERY opportunity.

    Great idea, but why not subpoena his staff members to find out what is said in staff meetings, or hell, why not just require him to wear a body camera?

    There is a massive difference between meeting with adversaries to let them know their conduct is unacceptable, but that their will always be a path forward should they choose to change their ways;

    and whatever the heck that Trump/Putin press conference was.

    The Clinton campaign paid an Foreign spook to create a dodgy dossier of salacious and unverified information which was then used to try and gin up outrage against trump
      1. It was shopped around to various media outlets, Harry Reid and then ended up at the FBI
      2. Where it was also used by the FBI as additional justification for those FISA warrants
      3. It remains utterly unverified and indeed certain claims appear to have documentary proof that they did not occur when the dossier claims (if at all)
    2. Based on the discovery that the FBI was tapping his phones and all the other stuff that has come out over the last ~20 months President Trump, understandably, has not got a lot of confidence in the neutrality of the FBI and other intelligence agencies.

    How conveniently the left forget about the book that Corn and Isikoff wrote, in which it claims Obama ordered cyber security guy on Russia to stand down. When that book came out THIS year, CNN and msnbc, etc. - crickets. They are all partisan hacks who stand for nothing. Obama cared nothing about the supposed Russian hacking, UNTIL Hillary lost:

    I agree with what Trump had to say once he realized that his original statements were going over like a lead balloon, and quickly backtracked in the most obviously and sad way possible.

    The fact that Trump needs to be publicly shamed to do whats right is appalling.

    The only thing wrong with the Presidents statements on the subject was one word, which he corrected.

    The transcripts from the press conference confirm that.

    Is this for real? If I was Trump or his people I'd be getting this out if it can be verified this policy. It just craps on all the government agencies babbling for 15 mins of fame and the medias propaganda

    When one word changes the entire message of what your saying, and it isn’t “changed” until well after he got back and was lambasted by both parties, then you would think he would make sure that word is said correctly.

    And considering that Trump has a habit of saying one thing in person then something different when he is on his plane or back home shows that it’s difficult to trust anything he says
