You seem to not understand America. Here, anyone residing here (even non-citizens) are subject to US law. Since Sharia (the Koran) is criminal under US law, it cannot be accepted, and those who act in accordance with Sharia (wife-beating, pedophilia, rape, slavery, torture/mutialtion, etc) will find their Sharian fannies in US prisons for a long time. Makes no difference who the victims of the crimes are (Muslims or anyone).

Only in your mind. You see the First Amendment is very clear about freedom of religion- and it applies to non-Christians too.

It's unlikely for Sharia law to be brought to America which is a solidly Christian country and it's Arab migrants who have to adapt to the American legal system based on English Common Law and gender segregation is prohibited under federal civil rights laws. But gender segregation is strictly enforced in some very conservative Arab countries such as Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia and it's America's duty to end discriminatory practices in those countries by exerting its influence.

 

Sharia itself is not criminal in the United States- it simply just is not applicable.

Sharia and similar Old Testament punishments are of course forbidden by law.

Which is why the boogeyman warnings of "Sharia is coming, Sharia is coming" is such a joke.

 

The idea that women are paid less is absurd. I've worked at over 200 companies in the US in my life, and I've never seen a woman paid less than a man. As for Sharia, it violates US law. It is criminal. US law applies to everyone in the US.

Sharia itself is not illegal. Muslims can agree amongst themselves to abide by Sharia rules in their own conduct and even in business agreements. Conduct is illegal- not the concept of Sharia.
