    After you've had your coffee...

Which Texas city should you live in?

    http://www.quizony.com/which-texas-...m_medium=clicks_to_website&utm_campaign=texas

They pegged me... but Corpus instead of Galveston. Still works!

    Corpus Christi

If you need to be near the water, Corpus Christi is for you. Famed for its beautiful beaches, bay, and marina, it has sunshine and warm temperatures that let you take full advantage of the H2O. Take a segway tour along the waterfront or ride horses along the beautiful beaches.

I know you don't cotton politics round this pop stand. But this is kinda important.
Alcee Hastings { a Big Liberal Black congressman from Florida who was once
a judge that got impeached } made probably THE most disrespectful comment
on the house floor in history. He basically bad mouthed Texas by name and
swore he'd never even consider living there. He was conversing in the House chamber
    to a Texas Congressman.
I've never heard such a thing in all my life.
I think it was done on purpose to smear Texas. The dems are trying to take over
Texas. They need to Turn Texas Blue.

On my second try I gots Austin. Where Alex Jones broadcasts from.He complains
all the time about the state capital and it's huge population of Trendy's.
I remember from my Hippie days that Austin was a big spot for Bands and
the like.Like THE place to go to college. But then Fuddyduddy Bill Bennett was
on O'Reilly last night { Both TOTAL STraighties and eminently proud of }.
    O'Reilly was discussing Drugs and Education and finally asked the other Bill { Bennett }
    " have You ever Smoked Pot } and of course Bennett { Former Sec.rt of Education }
and appointed Drug Czar said no.He Lived in Austin and went to the University of Texas.
Claimed he once had a date with Janis Joplin.Er somethin'.
Said he used to go down the dorm hall and blow the smoke away from him it was
so thick.Everbody whose anybody knows to put a wet towel under dorm door to
keep smoke from getting into the hall.
    Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
Billo O'Reilly and his infernal fountain pen he never lets go of.Talk about a
security blanket.Would someone please get the YouTube video of O'Reilly
having a conniption fit On Air when he was working as anchor for Inside Edition.
It's about THE funniest video ever put up at YouTube.
    { Bill O'Reilly freaking out } 5 years go

I don't think that's just libs, dumplin. There are rude people all over the political spectrum. And crazies. A mother was in her front yard, getting ready to take her daughter to school when a young man walked up, said he had a gun and demanded the mother's purse. The daughter went ballistic on the guy, but he still grabbed the purse and got away. This happened about 3 miles from my house yesterday morning. It's downright scary out there. :chainsaw:

That could very well be an aggravated classification of Felony.
Like getting caught selling drugs within a half mile of a school. The penalty
is like quadrupled.Like how they cleaned up car jacking.Which was a huge
problem in Dallas according to Alex Jones who used to live in Dallas.
Jones is a good 'ol boy but man oh boy does he love to chat.I mean Yap.
Like yappity yap yap all the day long.Used to be the galsy were like dat.
Spend all morning gossiping on the infernal rotary phone.
I guess that's why Al Gore invented the Internet.
To take over where the rotary phone left off.

Texas isn't { ain't } " every state " Darlin'. So right off the bat you are at
strike one. In this game ... 2 { TWO } strikes and yer out.
Why do you think record number of Californians are moving to Texas.
Because Rick Perry looks good with his nouveau black glasses which makes
him appear like some Disney Professor { The Nutty Professor } ?!??!!
Tommy Kirk looked great in studious black glasses. However he fell from grace.
    On account One Pot Party.

Texas is still a state until they secede.

I like Rick Perry with or without his glasses. He is man enough to wear them with class.

It saddens me to think what happened to the 60's actor Tommy Kirk.
Everyone should easily recognize him even today.Star of - Old Yeller -
and - The Shaggy Dog - and then - The Absent Minded-Professor -.\
Then a string of neato 60's movies like - Son of Flubber - and
    - The Monkeys Uncle - plus - It's a Bikini World - and - The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini -
and - Pajama Party - plus many more like - The Wild Weird World of Dr.Goldfoot -
    alongside Vincent Price.
He was a product of the Disney studio system until Walt got wiff of that
Pot Party Tommy got arrested at.That was the final straw.Word had it that Tommy
was a closet gay and lived an underground existence that few in the business knew
about or understood.Or cared to. Walt Disney had to let Tommy go and his career
deteriorated quite rapidly. He was a gifted actor.Probaly The best Known
Nerdish Whizz kid on film in the 60's.His style brought something genuine to the
screen. No one ever talked much about Tommy Kirk.He was quickly forgotten while
other much less seen or gifted actors like the Blond hunks Troy Donahue and
Tab Hunter always got press and notice.
Donahue wasn't much of an actor.Basically played the good looking blond kid with
a cutesy smile and Ken Doll heart.Tab Hunter was too aggressive as if he had something
    to prove to other actors.Like in his greatest role - Gunman's Walk - {1958 }
alongside the very manly Van Heflin.Hunter's character was superb.
Tommy and Tab are still with us.Troy who started drinking alcohol at age 13
and after being dropped by Warner Bros. in the mid 60's became an alcoholic.
