    It's designed to stop a few states from controlling a nation..

    Never gonna change, never gonna happen.. Best thing to do is get out to those states and do some good ol campaigning and don't do like that lazy bitch Hillyhag..

    In your opinion. Some people don't get the outcome they want. They simply learn from it and do better; not manipulate things to suit their desires.

    Yup. Some manipulate things to get what they want, like the Republicans with their insane gerrymandering and voting machines lacking any audit trail, and robocalls to tell democrats the voting day is the day AFTER the actual voting day, etc. etc. etc.

    Except it is exactly the other way around people are vleeing CA and NY at unprecedented rates. and moving to the center of the country. But have no fear the crazies bring with them the the stupid ideas they fled those places to get away from the very consequences those ideas wrought in the first place.

    Right now, we are only talking about abolishing the EC, or what can be inferred when the OP says "the electoral college needs to go." The OP simply doesn't like it because the GOP is winning. Therefore, it should be removed to suit his interest.

    This is a completely different topic than cheating gerrymandering or voter suppression.

    You got the easy half and just wait till the citizens of California see all their electoral college votes go for another Trump when they voted for a Sanders. It will be an unenforceable compact and the first one to realize the fallacy and dropout will be it's death.
