    The U.S. special counsel investigating possible ties between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia in last year’s election is examining a broad range of transactions involving Trump’s businesses as well as those of his associates, according to a person familiar with the probe.

    The president told the New York Times on Wednesday that any digging into matters beyond Russia would be out of bounds. Trump’s businesses have involved Russians for years, making the boundaries fuzzy so Special Counsel Robert Mueller appears to be taking a wide-angle approach to his two-month-old probe.

    FBI investigators and others are looking at Russian purchases of apartments in Trump buildings, Trump’s involvement in a controversial SoHo development with Russian associates, the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow and Trump’s sale of a Florida mansion to a Russian oligarch in 2008, the person said.

    I gave fair warning, the business dealings will reveal all, and they will get them scrutinized. Trump has two choices, endure the investigation, and be found guilty, or, fire Mueller, and be found corrupt.

    Either way, the guy that prefers those who are not shot down, IS GONNA GET put in the bamboo floating cells. He will understand what torture is.
    His admin is going down in flames. And the Republican party with it. I guess the right wing thinks going down with the ship, is gallant.

    The BLOTUS is going to be facing charges of money laundering and the obstruction will just be garnish on the side.

    SC Mueller is well within his rights to expand into the Russian money laundering because the campaign meddling was no more than an offshoot of the money laundering. In essence it was the motivation behind supporting the BLOTUS.

    Yes. Transactions in 2008, several yrs. beyond the statute of limitations, will certainly end Trumps reign. :omfg:

    IRS looks back four years, if they find inconsistencies, they can go back further, ad infinitum. But you already knew that.

    We can certainly differentiate between a fair justified investigation and a fishing expedition, witch hunt and/or McCarthyism.

    It's patenly obvious that it's the later.

    So the fact that the BLOTUS engaged in criminal activities does not trouble the extremist alt right in the least says volumes.

    There is no statute of limitations on High Crimes so if evidence of money laundering and/or RICO emerges against the BLOTUS it can be used for impeachment proceedings.

    You confuse facts with suspicion, and allegation. Charges, if warranted, should have been preferred in accordance with the law. The right to a speedy trial, and the statute of limitations are cornerstones, not to be taken lightly.

    If the facts of money laundering and RICO are discovered and they fall outside of the statute of limitations the BLOTUS is indeed entitled to a speedy impeachment trial for those High Crimes. The sooner the better IMO.

    I have the problem where you presume that Trump is guilty until proven innocent. And you have to fish around looking for something, anything to get him on. I'm going to be pleased when your bubble of a reality is burst when Trump is cleared of all charges. What are you going to do then???
