Obviously the logarithmic scale looks better for your argument than a linear scale.

How about we deal in raw death numbers from your chosen states?

    Texas: May 1: 849 ..... June 27: 2,406

    Arizona: May 1: 330 .... June 27: 1,579

    Florida: May 1: 1,314 .... June 27: 3,392

We are now seeing huge spikes in cases in these states. We'll know how that translates into deaths soon enough.

All PREVIOUS viruses, that we know of.

You should probably stay out of science, if new discoveries aren't your thing.

Except that this virus was recognized in the US in the middle of winter. Next weekend is the 4th of July. Cases are way up. What is seasonal about that?

IOW, less than would have entered the US without the ban.

It is behaving seasonally. Death rates everywhere, including Florida, Texas, Arizona, etc., have been declining steadily for weeks. That has not changed, despite the lies of the hysterical media.

No, it isn't. Not even close. Deaths rates in Florida are still on the decline. The media is LYING, like they always do. They are conflating an increase in cases, which is entirely due to increased testing, with an increase in deaths and serious illness, which have been on the decline for weeks.

Iran's struggles with the virus are easily explained by the economic warfare being waged against Iranian society by the imperialist west. You of all people should know that.

LOL! So, Trump should have just let everyone in - like Italy.

Surely you know that Trump's opposition actively encourage open borders and mixing the infected population with the general population.
Trump had to defy the "experts" to limit the spread.

That's what the alarmists always say. And they are always wrong.

That's exactly what he did. He let all Americans in from Europe with no screening.

Last time I checked Trump is POTUS. This is his purview, his responsibility. It matters not what others thought.

His action regarding cutting flights from Europe was in the second week of March. By then, he should have known better than to do it as he did.

Trump is not a dictator. He defied his opposition to stop travel from China.
Doing more would have sent them into the streets burning down their cities.

Admit it. Trump's opposition has encouraged the spread of the CCP/DP Wuhan Virus Pandemic from the start. Everyone knows that by now.

Logarithmic scales more accurately and precisely reflect percentage changes than linear scales. Did that really require an explanation?

In other words, you want to use numbers that look better for your argument.

What is this supposed to prove?

Mostly among the young and healthy, and only because there has been increased testing. It will amount to nothing, just like all the other dire predictions that have been made.

Yes, the disaster is always looming just over the horizon...

I refuse to donate to a forum that aggressively censors its membership based on totally arbitrary and politicized standards.

The alarmists have a huge advantage over their opponents. They have fear on their side. And when their dire predictions don't pan out, which they almost never do, they can just say they were trying to be safe. This country is truly a husk of its former self. We now live in a world where most people value the illusion of "safety" over the blessings of liberty. Nobody has even bothered to try to justify any of this nonsense legally, since it is a brazen violation of the bill of rights and of separation of powers. We've simply handed over dictatorial powers to executive branches with almost no real debate or democratic consensus. We now live in a literal police state where the government controls everything and civil liberties can be suspended on a mere whim. The republic is truly dead now. And it is probably never coming back.

Wanna run a percentage change on the raw numbers and time frame I posted?

It's not funny, it's hypocritical. And that's funny.

I already posted the day-to-day percentage changes in the form of a logarithmic scale.

No, you posted the most favorable appearing scale to buttress your argument. Each bar on that scale is an increase by a factor of 10. Of course the line will appear flatter.

Guess you don't want to use actual numbers.

Yes, all previous viruses. No reason to believe this one is any different. If you believe otherwise, then the onus is on you to prove it.
