    His pardon was well deserved. Turning his pardon into a spectacle simply for Trump's own selfish reasons is undignified of the office.

    The Nevada parole board unanimously pardoned Poder in May of crimes he committed in that state. What seemed like a once dangerous guy has transformed himself into somebody most everybody likes and respects now. He still has convictions standing in NY.

    Trump's motives are just speculation on your part. Though you are likely correct that it was self-serving, your outrage is nothing more than your own bias talking. If you think it was "undignified of the office", then you have not been paying attention to Washington DC for very long.

    In the OP source, it states that a Rehabilitation Expert, and the FBI officer that arrested him requested that Jon Ponder be pardoned. Considering that Bill Ayers is a prominent supporter of the DNC and Obama, can you really question this?

    You do know how politics work right? It is in reality a popularity contest, you don't win that without some amount of spectacle. His "selfish reasons" are his re-election which is for the betterment of the country, at least from his perspective. I happen to agree, others not so much. The pardon was earned not by turning his own life around but by playing a serious role in helping others to turn theirs around. Keep in mind as well that he had already served his time and rightfully so.

    Did you complain that Bill Ayers is a supporter of the DNC and Obama? To refresh your memory, Ayers admitted that he bombed the NY Police HQ, the State Department, and the Pentagon. While a fugitive, Ayers married Bernadine Dohrn. the founder of the Weather Underground that was responsible for 25 bombings and an attempted robbery of an armored car where two police officers and a Brinks driver was shot. Did you complain when Bill Clinton pardoned Dohrn? Did you complain when Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich? Rich was a fugitive that was convicted in absentia for tax evasion and trading in Iranian oil against US sanctions. Rich was pardoned after his wife made huge donations to the DNC and to the Clinton Foundation.

    Did you complain when Obama commuted the sentence of Brandon Edward Manning (aka Chelsea Manning)? Did you complain when Obama traded 5 terrorists for Bergdahl, and then surprisingly he was only sentenced to a reduction of rank to Private, and fined $1000 a month for 10 month, and a dishonorable discharge. There was no jail time. Bergdahl after he deserted he was training Taliban, enemies of the US, troops in weapon efficiency and small unit tactics. It is also surprising that he was not charged for treason. That is the charge for aiding and abetting enemies of the United States.

    If these do not trigger outrage for you, then why are you worried about the pardoning of a rehabilitated bank robber?

    I believe that Orange Julius is using the bank robber to try and chip away as many votes from the Black community as he can. Furthermore because this guy Bankrobber Mr. Pardon is doing something with former criminals Orange wants to take credit for it.

    some truth to this...the RNC brings people like this and puts them on stage because the RNC believes in second chances and this man proves its worth it

    meanwhile the DNC just takes Weinstein’s money and keeps classified docs on child sexual predator’s laptops....but hey...don’t invite them
