Yes indeed it a good thing that all Mexicans are too dumb to put some form of covering over themselves and their cloths before going over such 'mine' fields.

The problem with Trump and his promises is that thise he keeps are so half baked upon execution that they getvstopped bybthe courts orvthey are so screwed up they never ever get done at least not done right.Example the Seven Sisters of Muslin ban.

tell me, is there some migratory animal besides illegal aliens which will be affected by a wall, or fence, in the desert? Environmental review, what a joke.

There is a factual justification. We have illegals immigrants here in the millions, they still are coming, we spend more money on them that we would on a wall. Ez

I wonder how many illegals stopped to get their BC's before they left Mexico.

How long has he been in office?? How many of his cabinet appointees are fully vetted? Give the man a chance. He is a business man, we gave a community organizer a chance, now lets do likewise for a business man. He hasn't had one day of peace since he has been in office.

    What is your idea?

At least Trump is giving it a thought. He is still just a month into the job give him a chance. Did Obama think about doing anything to the border to prevent illegals from entering?

If this "Wall" is ever built it will provide many "Shovel Ready" jobs to the folks who tunnel under it.

Wow! Those will be some companies that can survey a couple of thousand miles for path, soil stability, right of way, etc..., then design and cost out the wall in under a month.
There's a project doomed to failure or horrendous cost over runs. Unless, of course, Trump has a construction company in mind that has already done this and by keeping the time frame egregiously short it is guaranteed to get the contract.

So which is it? Very short sited and rushed or corruption from the get go?

That's the point. The Mexican government has already said that they won't accept anyone from ICE without proof that they are in fact Mexican. As they say, they have the right to defend their border as well. Mexico could literally halt nearly all deportations from the US.

So they have no intention of taking back Mexican citizens because they don't have a BC. I am sure they could get one easy enough.

Computerized generated designs and bids it could be possible.

Don't you think construction companies have been planning for months to do this?Build a wall isn't something that is spur of the moment. A good construction company probably got started the day they heard about the wall. Be prepared, you can bet there are some companies already finalizing their bids and designs.

Of course they'll accept their citizens that want to come back but with this simple tactic they can block Trump's deportation of those involuntarily forced to the border. Ironically it was Trump himself that gave them the tool as leader of the birthers.

A good construction company won't waste resources designing a wall that neither Congress nor Mexico will pay for.

Very inhuman to not accept your citizens with or without a birth certificate. Excuses, excuses a dime a dozen.

A good construction company will have the plans and then negotiate. Guess we will have to wait and see won't we?

No, the number of undocumrnted aliens staying in the US us not growing, according to organizations that study our populace.

Besides that, the wall does nothing about those who are here.

And, the wall only addresses one way for aliens to arrive and overstay their papers. So, even if the numbers were growing (which they are not) a wall would address only a fraction of the problem.

Besides that, there are FAR cheaper approaches.

The wall does not address those who are here, obviously. So, that argument is bogus.

Yes, we spent a ton on getting the economy rolling after the Bush catastrophy.

Suggesting the Rs have been more responsible is ridiculous.

But, it does not matter. The wall expenditure is not justified, period.

    That is a joke.

The number of undocumented aliens in the US stopped growing at or near the beginning of the Obama administration and has not grown since.

That is the first time in modern history that the undocumented population has not grown.

So, what you are askjng really makes no sense, does it?

    That number is not growing.

And, the very best a wall could possibly do is stop the growth.

Also, remember that there are pther methods of becoming an undocumented alien in America - many borders, visas work permits to overstay, etc.

And, if at some point in the future the number of undocumented aliens starts growing again, there are cheaper solutions.

    Amen.

Projects of this size usually go through a specification process, with bidding on the design to follow.

This whole thing looks as above board and responsible as a tweet fest.
