Maybe I'm an outlier, but I am a student of history, and this guy only killed 49 people (so far) and another 48 or so are in the hospital. As somebody who predicted that there's going to be a war between the left and right, this is slightly below average for your typical war scenario of an opening bombardment by a lone gunner.

WW1 was started by a group of Serbian terrorists who killed the arch-duke and his wife. The eventual war toll for all of WW1 was around 40 million.

You are correct in saying that it is nothing about guns. It's much much deeper than that. This particular situation is one lone gunner saying "to hell with this!" and deciding to do something about it. I'm sorry, but I just can't find much to fault him with. Leftists were told that they can't keep the borders open and continue to welcome people into the country who fundamentally disagree with our culture.

Should I condemn him for killing muslims? As a student of history, that would require me condemning the crusades, which were nothing but a response to islamic encroachment upon christian lands. You might as well tell me I need to condemn the British for fighting against Nazis.

I can't remember a single time that leftists didn't condemn attacks by Muslim extremists.....I can think of numerous times just in the few years where the right not only refused to condemn Christian terrorism, but actually tried to defend it.

 

This is just like what he did in Charlotteville.....refuse to denounce those who is base would support....

A good percentage of his base are alt righters who hate Muslims. Trump refuses to denounce one of their own.

Just like he refused to call the attack at Charlottesville an act of terror, because it would have pissed off the nazis in his base.

 

I listened to what he said to the prime minister. He offered whatever support they needed. They did not need to be told how evil the terrorists were. They already knew that.

If you're really that interested, perhaps you could look deeply into how your thoughts and conclusions regarding the President are influenced and developed.

Are they independent, or are they manipulated and directed?

For example, the Nation has witness riots, attacks, stalking, etc., by supporters of the left. We've watched people chased out of restaurants, people threatened in their own homes. Are these tactics conservatives have followed? I haven't seen any. So when the President say's the right isn't agreesive, isn't tough, it's true.

I think the President speaks very much like a leader. I think his rivals speak something other than "American", if you get my drift.

BIG HINT. The most violence you can find in America is in the larger cities and that does not have thing to do with Trump. They are generally democratic controlled cities. I don't hear the democrats talking about stopping that violence.
