That is getting into the weeds but I do not see much difference between the two. Both were puppets of the oligarchs.

You seem to misunderstand the point of discussion- which is to distill information and identify truth, not to "win" by denial or distortion of truth.
You were the one disputing how windfall wealth works, but now..l. you don't want to discuss it- because I demonstrated what you believed was not so.
I think I will waste no more time on such silliness.

And for gods sake, quit boring you with facts???
How rude of them to bring up facts in challenging of opinions.
I think you have made the point clearly.

Not boring to the millions that now have jobs, many have much better jobs than they had with Obama. Some gave up looking because there wasn't jobs that paid a living wage.

Ah, the old madman theory of government. If you are unpredictable and demonstrably stupid somehow your opponents are supposed to capitulate out of fear. Or perhaps in the case of Trump they might just die laughing.

I never disputed how windfall wealth works.
That is a strawman of your own making which I am refusing to entertain as bearing relevance.
You are trying to assert that’s what happened with him — it wasn’t.
Trumps wealth was not just dumped in his lap; along with it came companies, networks, advisors.

    And bye

Well if making America the laughing stock of the world is a sucess then Trump is successful. Or if running up the national debt to give money to the rich is a sucess then Trump is sucessful. Otherwise about the best you can say is he hasn't yet screwed up the Obama recovery but it doesn't look like you are going to be able to say that for much longer.

How does a stupid man get a crummy economy completely turned around? How can he get NATO to pony up when Obama and Bush couldn't? How did he fix the VA when Bush and Obama couldn't? How did he get N.Korea to quit sending missiles over our Allies, when the last thing Obama told Trump is that N. Korea is the biggest problem he faces going in? How is it Trump fixed the military after Obama let it go to hell? How is it he got a new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico when Obama said he would then changed his mind? How is it China has agreed to import American beef after refusing for 13 years. How is it China is going to buy American rice when up to now they have never allowed foreign rich into their country?

That's amazing considering wage increases under Trump have barely kept up with inflation. But perhaps that is your definition of sucess for the working man.

On the other hand the really rich have made out like gangbusters.

So have Americans got richer. Those tax cuts you Liberals think only help the rich are bringing millions of jobs back. Good paying jobs. As a matter of fact, we have better paying jobs than people who know how to work them. Much better than Obama 90% service and part time jobs.

    1. jumped by 312,000 in the final month of 2018, with 301,000 of those new jobs coming from the private sector. In total, the U.S. has added more than 2.6 million new jobs over the past 12 months.

Meanwhile, wages surged by 0.4 percent last month, pushing total wage growth to 3.2 percent for the year.

He hasn't turned the economy around. It was good when he took office and he hasn't yet screwed it up. And the VA isn't fixed. And North Korea is now a nuclear power. And the military is no different than it was except that it now has a draft dodger as commander in chief. And the new NAFTA is about the same as the old NAFTA. And there is now a trade war with China. .

About the only real accomplishments of the Trump administration is the growing world influence and power of Russia, the increasing international influence of China, and of course the rise of North Korea as a recognized nuclear power. And lets not forget the disaster of Brexit which he supported and the declining strength of NATO.

Like I said peanuts or less for the workers and billions for the rich. Thank you Trump. Real wage increase for 2018 was 1.1% much less than the increase thanks to Trump in healthcare costs.

Blue-collar jobs are growing at their fastest rate in more than 30 years, helping fuel a hiring boom in many small towns and rural areas that are strong supporters of President Trump ahead of November's mid-term elections.

Jobs in goods-producing industries — mining, construction, and manufacturing — grew 3.3 percent in the year preceding July, the best rate since 1984, according to a Washington Post analysis.

Blue collar jobs, long a small and shrinking part of the U.S. Economy, are now growing at a faster clip than those in America's much larger service economy. Many factors collided to produce the blue collar boom. Some are tied to short-term boom-and-bust cycles, but others may endure. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/msn/under-trump-the-jobs-boom-has-finally-

    OBAMA's Economy.
    • How good were the 10.9 million jobs under Obama?
      Money.CNN.com/2016/11/04/news/economy/jobs-under-obama/...
Nov 03, 2016 · CNNMoney breaks down what kinds of jobs have been created and ... Almost all of the job gains under President Obama have been in so-called service jobs,

The deep recession wiped out primarily high-wage and middle-wage jobs. Yet the strongest employment growth during the sluggish recovery has been in low-wage work, at places like strip malls and fast-food restaurants.

In essence, the poor economy has replaced good jobs with bad ones. That is the conclusion of a new report from the National Employment Law Project, a research and advocacy group, analyzing employment trends four years into the recovery.

“Fast food is driving the bulk of the job growth at the low end — the job gains there are absolutely phenomenal,” said Michael Evangelist, the report’s author. “If this is the reality — if these jobs are here to stay and are going to be making up a considerable part of the economy — the question is, how do we make them better?”

The report shows that total employment has finally surpassed its pre-recession level. “The good news is we’re back to zero,” Mr. Evangelist said.

But job losses and gains have been skewed. Higher-wage industries — like accounting and legal work — shed 3.6 million positions during the recession and have added only 2.6 million positions during the recovery. But lower-wage industries lost two million jobs, then added 3.8 million.

    77 percent of 2013 jobs were part-time positions ...
    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/aug/2/part-timer-nation...
Aug 02, 2013 · Fully 77 percent of positions added to the market in 2013 have been part-time, in contrast to the positive economic news making the media rounds, according to payroll reports released in recent weeks.

"There are now 1.2 million fewer jobs in mid- and higher-wage industries than there were before the Great Recession, according to data from the National Employment Law Project. In contrast, there are 2.3 million more jobs in lower-wage sectors than before the recession," according to CNBC. Nor is there the hoped-for renaissance in American manufacturing. We have some 300,000 fewer manufacturing jobs since President Barack Obama took office and 1.5 million jobs below the pre-recession level.

Average wage increse for 2018 of 1.1% doesn't lie. Trump has done wonders for the rich, not much for the average American.

Trump had to put over 800 billion in the military, Obama starved it till it was in such bad shape, over half to three quarters of all Marine and Navy fighters could no longer fly for lack of spare parts. That was just the air part. Things the Left will never tell you.

Overhauls — "availabilities" in Navy parlance — are being canceled or deferred, and when ships do come in they need longer to refit. Out of 276 F/A-18 Hornet strike fighters in the Marine Corps inventory, only about 30% are ready to fly, according to statistics provided by the Corps. Similarly, only 42 of 147 heavy-lift CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters are airworthy.

Well hyperbole is a fact of life. What is pathetic is that our moron President thought that somehow burgers and puzza were going to be a great treat for the players. That is the really sad commentary about how he views athletes. Or maybe he just thinks eveyone is as unsophisticated as he is. This is a moron that eats his steaks well done with catsup after all. That alone should be grounds for impeachment.

Nothing like reading newspapers that have Pulitzer Prize winning journalists. Nothing like reading the most respected newspapers all over the world. I’m sure you would rather read the national Enquirer or Fox News.

Or perhaps a continuation of where Obama left off. Remember Obama inherited a recession and saved us from another depression he tripled the stock market in employment rose every single month for years The orange idiot said that he would cut the deficit and he keeps increasing it every year

Wow, so Obama proved just how bloated our military actually is. We spend as much as the next eight highest spending countries and yet our military is starving. What do you think is wrong with this picture.
