    Well, there'd be some outrage, sure, just like we see here--probably more--but I wouldn't call it explosive.

    You'd have the 1%ers protesting such things, bloggers, and such, but the 99%, we just ignore these kinds of situations.

    I mean, could you imagine if a resident black guy from New Racist City showed up at NRC's 45th annual White Power rally without an invite? Of course he'd get tossed at the door, and if he complained, any sane person would say, "We'll of course you got tossed; it's the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing KKK!"

    The fact remains if you register as a non profit organization you cannot racially discriminate and I challenge TFM, Dave or any other liberal to cite the law that states otherwise.

    I am amused at the usual suspects' defense of these bigots over at Vulcan. We all know that they would howl with rage at the mere thought of a legitimate whites only firefighter non-profit organization. Imagine blacks turned away at a meeting. The NYT ect would go freaking nuts.

    Discrimination is not limited to absolute exclusion, and if you are contending that the law does not allow groups specifically formed to promote the interests of a minority group not to discriminate in favor of that minority group, you have not shown the law that applies.

    If the "Vulcan Society" used private property for their event... then I have no issue. If they used public property, then they have an ENORMOUS issue.

    the Klan is a non-profit too..

    Come on man.. this organization's stated goal is the advancement of people of color within the firefighting community. They are discriminatory by the very reason for their existence.

    They are not there to promote all firefighters, just the black ones.

    I know that is tough to swallow, but if we can keep gays out of the boys scouts.. then these black firefighters can keep whites out of their organization. Why be all offended by it?

    These white guys knew (*)(*)(*)(*) well what theyw ere doing and oddly I agree with Liberal Minority and TFM..these guys were race baiting on purpose.
