Why I'm done convincing diehard Trump Supporters

You can't say you're done, without some type of rationale or justification.
I already see the Trump devotees saying anti-trumpers don't put America First. Yeah, that's what they have convinced themselves of, though its in no way true.

Without borders, language and culture there effectively is no country. We need to STOP illegal immigration across our borders...Especially our Southern border otherwise you might as well just lay down and let illegal aliens stomp all over us.

Democrats did the same thing with Clinton and Obama and, this last election which ended with them going down with the Obama/Clinton 'ship.' Funny too, they didn't even realize how far from geographic American culture they have drifted. Trump is the result, he won because he is the first person to actually support America. Heck, they didn't even care about Trump's attacks on his opponents or sketchy language. Supporting average Americans instead of illegal immigrants is a powerful positive message. Democrats were blind to it.

No one thinks there are 'surefire' solutions but at least SOMEONE is finally TRYING to find solutions. That is refreshing after the past 8 years of nothing but talking trash about America and Americans including our military and police force.

If you ever feel the desire to bang your head against the wall again, first you start by pointing out why we need immigration at all. Why let even 1 immigrant in? If you can get past that, then you work from there by arguing for two. What are the conditions that make immigration a positive for the country?

Zero. Let tourists in from developed countries so they can visit disneyland, and make sure they leave before their visa expires.

When they get paid to do the job of ICE, then you can complain. Until then, the Feds are just scapegoating their financial responsibilities by dumping this in the laps of cities. THAT is what really started sanctuary cities in the first place! The cities don't have the budget or the resources to do the job of immigration control.
