More nonsense it is well know that ear and tail biting syndome is caused by a defieciency of animal protein in a hogs diet. Down in the south they call it blood crazy. Hogs as it happens are omnivores. They are also not human being and not closely related to primates at all.

Oh and the Human body produces all the Mannose it needs naturally it is part of the glucose processing cycle.

You sound like somebody who should be well aware that pigs are often used in various medical studies due to their many similarities to us humans!!!!

 

The sad fact is that many or most cancers are the consequence of lifestyle/diet/environment.

 

The most important similarity between humans and pigs perhaps is that we suffer from cancer, heart disease, stroke and diabetes!

The way to decrease the incidence of these diseases in pigs was known since the 1930's. It is to add forty or more trace minerals to pig feed! The farmers can't make a lot of money if they have to call the vet often!

Unifier. I agree. I had a Polish laborer for years that worked for me. He spent WWII in a cave smuggling goods across the border and being a general PIA to the Russians. He can walk through a US forest and tell you what plant cures what. Of course some of our plants differ and such. He's never admitted his true age, never been to a doctor and yes, he's still alive.
Whether his claims are true or not I can't vouch for but there are many cultures that have followed such practices. IMO modern medicine turns up their noses too often at what other cultures have learned a long time ago.

No Joel what I am saying is that all that is necessary to keep pigs sane is a little meat protein in their diet. The feed industry has known this for years. Which is what makes me think that the entire story is a fabrication. There are natural cures for a lot of things but a lot of those cures such as penacillin are going to need a lot of processing to reach full potency and to reduce the inherent dangers of these so called natural remedies. And efore you start spouting about how great Mother Nature is the first thing you ought to recall if you taken a few geology classes is that she's a mean old broad who every 100 or so millenia tries to exterminate all us creepy crawlies moving across her face and sometimes gets help from her nearest neighbors. She has been damn close on several occassions.

 

I prolly won't read the entire thread but I wanted to share this belief.

I understand that cancer cells can not live in an alkaline environment so the key might be to create an alkaline PH in your body by changing what you eat and drink.

Cancer can't be cured because it's not a disease. It's a genetic defect. The only way to cure it, would be to find the gene that causes it and remove it. But, removing genes is not technologically possible right now.

 

Cancer is man made and so is the profit reaped from it. Enough said.

 

My daughter, who went thru a bout of leukemia about 4 yrs ago, really started researching foods and she came across B17.... later we were in a health store and I asked the clerk if they sold vitamin B17 and her answer was 'It's illegal to sell it in this state".....I said "Because of the pharmaceutical companies?" Her answer was "Yes"... of course, she couldn't explain to me why it's illegal to sell it, but she answered my question....

There's no $ in people being healthy and cancer-free....

Also, I had posted this b/f but will again for your info. One of the healthiest foods you can eat is pure/virgin coconut oil. It's loaded w/health benefits. I found out that here you can't buy it w/food stamps, which surprised me since it's a food....

 

Agreed and I guess living in a socialised medicine world the government would pay out HUGE amounts to get patients out of hospitals because they cost less when they are healthy and even might earn more tax
