    No wonder he's exhausted.

All that rocking back and forth for a few minutes is probably more exercise than he's gotten for decades.

All the September 11 terrorists were either from Saudi Arabia or Egypt . The bin Laden family were among the very few allowed an airline flight out of the country afterwards. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

I just hope that $$350 billion in arms that Trump has dealt to them doesn't end up in the wrong hands. That won't happen, right?

Mr. Trump also said the deal will create American jobs, and that is likely true. I wonder if Americans will be building the means to their own destruction.

Uhh... that's some nonsense, right there.

Small and Mid-Sized Frackers have quickly broken OPEC, which has had its hands around the throat of the American and Western Economies since the 1970's. No government programs, in fact, the rise of fracking was done on largely private and state land and in spite of, rather than through the help of the US government.

Back in 2000, there were just 23,000 fracking wells pumping about 102,000 barrels of oil a day. Now there are 300,000 fracking wells, churning out 4.3 million barrels per day.

Fracking "has allowed the United States to increase its oil production faster than at any time in its history," the EIA said in recent report.

That surge in American crude is the reason for the global glut in oil that broke OPEC. The excess supply caused oil prices to peak in mid-2014 and crash as much as 75% since then.

"Prices are where they are because shale has been so phenomenally successful. It's changed the whole pricing paradigm," said Tamar Essner, director of Nasdaq's energy team.

When prices drop, fracking shutters, and when prices start to rise, it quickly ramps up until prices drop again. After every cycle, the price point for break even on fracking lowers.

Thanks to that good American "Can-Do" attitude, OPEC no longer can control the global price of oil

Have you hugged a fracker lately?

No its not.. US production costs are still much higher than OPEC.. and many producers in the US have shut down because of low prices.

OPEC oil has ALWAYS been less costly than US oil.

Yes. Waves of Saudi helicotors will be flown from Saudi Arabia, in waves of attacks against the US homeland. With a cruising speed of 173 mph and combat range 368 miles. The USA is 7,507 miles from them so, we will probably never see them coming. Great Point!

Yes, but OPEC can no longer keep prices high by constraining supply. As soon as it gets to the break even point of fracking, our fracking floods supplies and knocks the price back down. Fracking has given us a power over the global price of oil that we simply haven't had since the 1970's.

Feb 3, 2016 - Nine areas had break-even costs at $30 or below. ... Oil prices can be even lower to justify completing wells that have already ... In Reeves County in the Permian, oil prices above $14 justifyfracking an already-drilled well.

    Yup. Pretty flat right there.

Now from 3/15/2009 to 5/22/2009, Barack the "Big Spender" ran up another $317,925,744,481.69 in debt, so flat's an improvement over that.

Opec didn't "keep prices high". Fracking has been around for 40 years... Oil prices went high because of the Iraq war, the Libyan revolt and other shortfalls.. When prices got high enough the US started ordering rigs and drilling like mad. Also there were sanctions that kept Iranian oil off the market. The Saudis were pumping like mad to keep supply steady... and now there's a glut of oil on the market.

No. They are quite right, sourced directly from the US Treasury. See, you labor under many delusions and when your delusion conflict with reality, you have more confidence in your delusions.

    Here are some examples:
    1. Hillary was never on the verge of a landslide. You believed a delusion that simply wasn't true.
    2. Faithless electors were never going to prevent Trump for gaining an electoral college victory. It was NEVER true.
    3. You aren't going to, any day now, open your eyes and find that Trump is no longer President. That was NEVER true.

And the debt has gone down a good amount since Trump took office, he is handily beating Obama's record on controlling the debt. This is simply true. You can see the numbers, you can run their through your calculator, you can see they have gone down, compare them to Obama's and see that the debt clearly rose significantly under Obama over this same period of their respective presidency, and still say this isn't true. And you have a right to your beliefs, you can swear the earth is square rather than round, and you have every right to do so, but, the earth is still round.
    Sure it has.
I never did. I computed the debt from inauguration day to today, and compared to Obama from his inauguration to the same date in his first year, and Trump is doing a significantly better job on controlling the debt than Obama did. But then Trump is much more intelligent and more engaged whereas Obama considered blaming someone else for something not working to being equivalent to making improvements. It's a rather strange way to look at things, and it certainly did us no good.

No. What you say is utter nonsense. OPEC broke the American Frackers with their low oil prices. You can find plenty of news articles how dozens of US fracking companies at a time crash leaving billions in debt that goes hand in hand leaving fracking sites behind as is... meaning... environmental hazards.

And I do mean... losses in da billions of bucks. Lets not kid each other as if this is just "a minor set back". This is really a serious blow.

That leaves the obvious conclusion that Fracking is more expensive, since it only became a booming business when the oil price was like a 100 bucks a barrel. Not the prices we got now.

Oh. Obama engaged in a big military build up
Sure. And Hillary was going to win in a landslide, and really won the election, Trump is suddenly going to vacate the office. You are welcome to believe whatever you like, but your beliefs, no matter how strongly you are committed to them, have no real affect on reality, and it certainly does not change the reality you are committed to denying.

Feb 3, 2017 - For the third week in a row, the US oil rig count rose dramatically (up 15 to 583 - the highest since October 2015). This is the biggest 3-week surge in rig counts since April 2013... (the biggest 3-week percentage gain since Nov 2009)

Production continues to trend with rig count...

There is no doubt that shale oil costs more than conventional oil to extract... and that's saying a lot since the US has the highest production costs in the world to begin with.

OK, you seem to be set on your fantasy. Let's check back in again in 2018 when we actually know the numbers.

LOL what?? you danced right around my point. Weakness is your assumption. My assumption is just as valid, and maybe even more valid given how the Saud treats black people.

Yawn, and with no supporting documentation explaining the numbers. Of course, right wing p[artisans need no facts, just their alternative reality.

I have read that black people are treated much like slaves. Since you seem to know a lot there, please share some insight?
