because you had problem comprehending the first reply, so I made it clearer for you

what I said before "let's investigate it, punish those that need punished and learn from it"

Ideally, it's 'two (bullets) in the torso and one in the head', according to the instruction in many police academies.

After the 'woke' libs take over everything in this country completely, it'll be 'kiss their ass and sing "Kumbaya" to them'... sweetly!

It could certainly be a possibility and will have to be looked into in the investigation. Having warrants out on you and with priors yeah criminals run it they can and even use lethal force resisting arrest and get killed. But this guy had no warrants or priors that we know of and it was a simple traffic stop. Why did he run and fire a gun at the police? Sad.

As I said, you have now inserted an "if". So far it appears to be a lawful use of force so who needs to be punished and what is it they are supposed to learn from it?

But then it is to be expected, you always seem to assume the police guilty to begin with despite the evidence and actions of the person killed.

That’s the Mozambique drill and no the department doesn’t teach that. Some advanced schools do, but that drill is for certain encounters.

I have a theory I'd like to share with the class.

Here is a photo of Walker:

This is a picture of Walker as he exits the vehicle, following the police pursuit, shortly before he meets his demise:

That's some interesting head gear for a supposed DoorDash driver.

Oh, wait, what's this? Here's a screen grab of an Akron PD FaceBook post about a recent string of robberies:

Hmmm, that ski mask and shirt look awfully familiar.

yep, it will be investigated and if they did anything wrong, we may or may not ever learn of it, but hopefully they do, employees should always strive to learn and improve

the first mask seems to have a smaller eyes hole

not that it means anything, as criminals can own more than one mask\gloves and some may not fit perfectly

Yeah, I saw the body cam of this; Seems like the rules of engagement were "empty the magazine, replace and repeat".

I'll be rather surprised if it turns out that any officers emptied more than one magazine. Looks and sounds to me more like: lots of officers in on the pursuit, and quite a few of them fire until their magazine is empty. I don't see / hear anyone firing off 15+ rounds, reloading, and firing another 15+ rounds in 7 seconds.

There was no "bad behavior" here by the cops. There was a dirtbag who got caught doing dirtbag things and now he's taking a dirt nap and the world is a better place without him in it.

Sounds like à firing squad to me.
Trained users of guns need fewer than four bullets.
ISTM some police need to not only be properly trained but stop getting off on the thrill of the opportunity to fire à gun.
Who scooped up the bits of body and brain strewn over the ground?

Akron is safer now that there's one less criminal to hurt others, thanks to law enforcement.

With law enforcement so trigger happy I wouldn't be too sure.
Sounds like your problem is the violence of the police.
Still I suppose it cuts down on the cost of à fair trial.

My problem? Why do you assume I have a problem when I'm glad the police shot the criminal who was firing at them? You seem to be ass backwards.

A decent policeman would not consider himself judge and jury and know how to wound without assasination.
Very poor policing. They are just playing vidéo games.

Literally no police department in the country teaches officers to "shoot to wound". It would be very bad tactics. They are taught to stop the threat. They did that this time and no innocent bystanders were injured. That's a 'W'.

So you'd rather policeman to let criminals fire at them and then run free into the public so they can harm others. The police did the right thing and it makes society safer which is their job.

Dont you know, you shoot their trigger finger so they cannot fire and then arrest them quietly. It really works like that. :)

Some people are pro criminal and get upset when anything tries to stop the criminals from committing crimes. I don't understand it either.

Sovyouvdont understand that you can diable à man with two bullet?
    Has America gone mad?
THE POLICE ARE NOT THE JUDGE AND JURY . THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO ASSASSINATE PEOPLE.
their rôle is to stop further harm. It doesn't take à bloodbath to do that.
In fact it seems to me to be sickening.

    No.
It is based on what happens in the ROW.
à place you seem not to be aware of.
So dont talk to me about ignorance.
Just what do they teach the police in the US? How to shred à suspect?
Sod the courts. The application of law. The possibility of mental care. Far too expensive.
Just shred the guy. The police become vigilante murder squads.
    Little John Waynes.
    Sad. Seriously sad.
