Can't wait for Silva/Bonnar tonight. Teixeira/Maldonado and Fitch/E Silva should be good as well.

Supposedly, you can watch a live stream of the prelims here, or here, for free.

    You watching via PPV XL?

I usually buy the card unless it's utter garbage. both Silva and Bonnar are two of my favorite fighters, so I'm getting it for sure. The energy of the Brazilian crowds are usually amazing.

I was thinking of throwing a few bucks down on Fitch. No way he should be at even odds with Erick Silva. The kid is good, but waaaaay too unproven. Fitch was the number 2 Welterweight for a good 4-5 years.

Camozzi outpoints Cane. Cane has dropped 4 out of his last 5, you gotta think that's it for him.

Teixeira/Maldonado was a crazy fight, holy (*)(*)(*)(*). I have no idea what Maldonados chin is made of. How he didn't get KO'd is mind boggling.

Anderson Silva is easily the best hand to hand fighter of all time. I'm in awe every time.

I see that Silva won, but how did it go down? I'm so pissed I didn't get to see it!

He pretty much toyed with Bonnar then KO'D him with a knee to the solar-plexus.

Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones to coach the next season of TUF, to fight for the LHW Title in April.

I don't know if Chael deserves it, but it sure as hell will be entertaining, lol.

I ended up seeing the fight. Can't say I was surprised at all... though I was a bit turned off by Silva's arrogance. I'm clinging to the hope that GSP vs Silva actually happens. I'll be rooting for GSP.

I've got to wonder about Jones as well. I always thought his technique was pretty sloppy. Hendo agrees:

He might be a bit sloppy, but he's pretty much cleaned out 205 outside of Hendo.

I don't know why, but I feel compelled to share an embarrassing incident from class tonight.

So... this new girl shows up to start training. She's studied at a Gracie gym for a year and a half, so coach let her jump right in. We were rolling for a bit, then switching partners, so that everyone gets a chance to roll with someone of different skill/body size, etc. So finally, her and I pair up. She was really strong for her size (I probably have 30lbs on her), and very well skilled... so I had to work hard just to give her a good fight. I had to work so hard in fact... that I farted. That's right... I farted... loud as (*)(*)(*)(*)! It's a fairly common occurrence, but always embarrassing, and infinitely worse when rolling with a girl. Fortunately, I train with a pretty mature crowd, and after a few chuckles, my humiliation was over.

I guess that's what I get though, for eating McDonalds before class.

It was quite humiliating. Worse things can happen when grappling with an attractive girl though, if you know what I mean. I've heard a lot of stories about guys developing uncontrollable ragers. God forbid I ever lose the ability to control myself in this manner!

Yeah, farting in front of a hot girl would really suck. A boner would be extremely awkward.

But look on the bright side. With a raging boner, you might get a rare tap out in her guard, if you know what I mean. LOL

Having a boner in north-south could be trouble.......lmfao. North-south choke wouldn't be the only choke available at that point....

My son trains at one of the best Jujitsu gyms in the world for kids or adults. The worlds best right now trains the adults.

Here is a recent video of Marcus Almeida Buchecha vs. Roger Gracie.

Buchecha is currently the #1 player in the world.

My son (10) took silver in this year's kids' worlds.

That was a great match, with Buchecha clearly more dominate. I can't believe Hoger managed to escape that armbar towards the end... that was really intense.

Excellent! I hope he sticks with it.
