Thanks! Another poster actually had a similar write-in related to government size.
So to match them up, I'm going to write the option as "Government Too Big And Powerful".
I'll write other one as "Government Too Centralized" if that's OK.
Government Too Big And Powerful,Government Too Centralized,&,U,D,5,N

And the results for the first serious vote in the series are in! Thanks up front for everyone who participated! At 41 initial options + 14 write-ins for a total of 55 different options and 24 ballots cast, this was definitely the biggest ranked vote so far. So without further ado, time to announce the...winn'r....winner(s)?.....Hmm, since these are issues, can we really call them winners?....

....ah, well, anyways....the Nation's #1 Top Issue Needing to Be Addressed,
...as voted on by you! the politicalforum membership......is.....is!....

    J. Immigration and U. Back-room Dealing in Politics
    followed closely by
    D. Partisan Dysfunction in Congress
    4. Campaign Finance Laws
    A. Gerrymandering

That's right, its a tie between immigration and back-room dealing. Who knew!?
Of course, the winners here essentially represent a consensus middle ground among what should be considered the top issue. Based on these results, I'm going to add back room dealing and campaign finance laws to my list of scheduled discussions/ranked votes, and bump immigration up in priority. Take a look at the detailed results below, there are some interesting patterns to be found there. In the RP vote, I gave issues relating to the direct functioning of our political system a reddish font color for comparison.

Also, special shout-out to Infrastructure. It didn't make it to the top, but for a write-in option I'd say it actually did pretty well! And a special node to Option @. Too Much Involvement in Foreign Regional Conflicts as well. Middle of the road in RP, but the priority given to it by many who voted for it means it places well in IR and ties for first in Plurality.

Results (Ranked Pairs - Plurality - Instant Runoff):

[IMG]If you have sharp eyes, you might have noticed that the numbered options have been replaced with text. Yeah.....that's because my automated RP vote tallying system does not play nice with numbered option labels. Lol
