These folks are quite arrogant in assuming anyone who doesn't agree with them is a "racist".

That is the problem.....you claim your premise is based on facts when really it has to do with "feelings". How convenient.

Is it? The term "systemic racism" is garbage. Most people just want to live their lives and have freedom to do so. Too bad there are those who have to make up phony terms and phony problems so they can profit.

those who have faulty arguments or logically deficient positions, generally try to cover that by pretending to be offended or throwing the race card.

I'm hoping you'll excuse me for not taking that stupendously anecdotal example as gospel.

Perhaps it would be wise to separate the legitimacy of the organization from the legitimacy of the cause on which it was founded.

It also saves them the trouble of actually having to think about their arguments.

The OP was written especially to me as it was the continuation of our conversation from another thread.

His entire points was to say...."The central premise of BLM is simply that the life of black people matter just as much as the life of white people. I don't know if you could call disagreeing with this "hate". But it's very close."

As you can see, his point was in no way that it was about statistics. His point was that if you oppose black lives matter, therefore you do not value black lives as much as white lives and that basically espouses hatred.

The links he provided to statistics were not in the spirit of it is what people feel and what they feel is what matters rather than whether there is confounding factors, rather he provided them because in his mind that is proof positive that there is no legitimate argument against the cause of BLM.

I am not sure why you are jumping in this much later and trying to re-write what he very plainly said.

It is an anecdote to be sure, but the conversation between you and I was you accusing me of wrongly jumping to the conclusion that they would do this to any man of any color when all evidence supports that very obvious conclusion.

This particular anecdote does happen to be a real world illustration of a very real concept which is that if all we as a society do is tell the black community that they are being oppressed, that they are going to see oppression in cases where it does not exist.

Which begs the question, if they are going to see oppression from police where it does not exist, how accurate is their assessment when they say they are oppressed by the police? It is a self-fulfilling prophecy to be sure. I brought up this story because the other person said that this is what blacks feel, and I used that anecdote precisely to illustrate that just because they are black and this is how they feel does not always mean that their feeling is correct. In light of the amount of race hustling that you and yours do, their "feelings" become less accurate by the day. Throw in a heavy dose of blacks as a race being far less cooperative with police as in my anecdote, and you have the recipe for black people always thinking the cops are oppressing them whether that is reality or not.

When one is respectful to police, there is a fair chance they will be respectful in return. When you are uncooperative with police, it is an almost certainty that they will treat you poorly.

The premise of BLM is if you shame white people you can get them to give you money.

Sounds like a derivative of the racist "welfare queen" caricature so popular during the Reagan years when things really began turning ugly.

So, you support the BLM that functionally advocates for the supremacy of black in the US. prove that statement is wrong.

Perhaps, but you don't. So why does it matter other than it is something that you want others to do for you?

And when you think about it, misrepresenting the fact that a dude who was jet fuel intoxicated on a bouquet of illicit drugs who died in police handling seems at best dishonest if you cite that as the "legitimacy" then of BLM. Fundraising grifters is about as nice as we can be at this point.

You have a curious habit, in the absence of an ability to make a compelling argument against beliefs people actually hold, of assigning beliefs to them they do not hold to advance your bogus narrative.
