In some people's eyes ..............620,000 Americans dying on their soil was the worst times in American History other than Trump in WH

He scares off his voters with the US government shutdown. Even more than with the suntan lotion on his face.

Trump loses ONLY if Obama runs.

    Otw, he'll serve until 2025.

Isn't it the duty of every citizen to defend the nation?

If so then you just made the argument that every citizen is entitled to free education and healthcare.

    Good job!

We will see, even if that's true it's not enough for the Dems to just run as anti-Trump, you have to have a positive message and bring out the vote, at the present time Trump will cruise to victory, not least because of the hysteria of the left, people didn't so much vote for Trump as against snowflakes, safe spaces, BLM, Antifa, identity politics, #MeToo etc.

He's trying to keep his election promises, he's actually tried to keep all of them.

Progressives campaigned on POSITIVE messages that RESONATED with We the People which is why they WON in the Midterms and will win again in 2020 with the same strategy.

The BLOTUS and/or the GOP only have fearmongering, gerrymandering and voter suppression to run on since ALL of their odious policies have been exposed as miserable FAILURES for We the People.

The MAJORITY of the electorate is no longer buying the lies of the GOP.

Progressives campaigned on an anti-Trump ticket and got a hiding because of the Kavanaugh effect, the very antithesis of what they wanted. Progressivism is why 'We the People' vote for Trump.

That doesn't answer my question. Are you guys going to once again try and win the popular vote, or the electoral vote? Only one wins you an election. The other loses an election and forces you to write books and blame other people.

No, it is not the duty. But if you cite that requirement then send the text to the government so we can ditch this military we have!

Just going to be weird for us to defend our nation since you guys want to take guns away.

I don't think that's the case. Love him or hate him the economy is doing really well and Trump's base still likes him. He'll still probably have his base who Democrats just continue to insult so it's doubtful they'll turn on him. But you never know.

Ok. Let's get rid of full time, ADOS, ARNGTO, and just use the selective service.

Who will run Bases, who will take mission TOC runs? Who will coordinate joint INTSCOMM? How will you be profficient in your assigned MOS without having it as a job?

I could ask a million more questions but the point is:

If a nation such as (spit ball-ing here) China decided to invade with actual forces...

What are you, as a selective serviceman, going to do with your limited training, your leadership with limited training (age 25), and no full time defense actively skilled for years in their warrant branch?

Do you understand why you civilians should never make military decisions? Because it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about lol

There first clue that there may be something wrong with their polls should be the fact that they are having to make as many as 15 calls to get one response and that number is likely only going to increase.

    Not in Terms of GDP
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/niallm...percentage-of-gdp-infographic-2/#2d7744524c47

please note it is difficult to argue that we cannot afford to spend 3.5% of GDP on the military Our current level which is in fact the lowest percent of GDP since WWII. Saudi Arabia is spending over 10 percent to lead the pack followed distantly by Russia and China We are currently fourth in terms of GDP

    Ironic PROJECTION duly noted!

That scenario clearly demonstrates that it is YOU that has "no idea what you are talking about"!

Just the LOGISTICS of attempting an invasion of US soil makes it a FAILURE before it has even started.

How do you imagine that China would be able to transport several million troops, and all of their equipment, across the Pacific WITHOUT it becoming obvious as to what was intended?

Such an invading force would be detected before it even left the shores of China and if it was on it's way it would be shot down and/or sunk long before it reached the coast.

Even were the Chinese were to somehow manage to reach the western coast they now have to invade and occupy almost 3 million square miles of territory. That alone makes it an impossible task given that they will have to deal with constant guerrilla attacks from locals and armed resistance within occupied territory. Suppressing that means doubling or even tripling the amount of forces on the ground which massively increases the cost. On top of it all there is the logistical nightmare of resupplying such a large army across such an enormous distance.

That you resorted to such an asinine example demonstrates that you are not what you allege yourself to be because anyone with even a modicum of military knowledge would NEVER use that absurd Hollywood scenario.

I don't pretend to be a military expert but even I have enough knowledge to know when someone is using a Hollywood movie script instead of reality. So which movies have you been in?

NIce try In this case duty is not reality. Barely 1 in 100 people in this country have ever served in Uniform and as the Generation that fought WWII dies off and the boomers join them in increasing numbers, those numbers will continue to fall. You want all those Freebies you have to actually serve in the country's military. It's part of the compensation package. Which includes pay that for the bulk of enlisted personnel is less than minimum wage if you don't include those benefits.

Do you know his speech to the Americans?
Donald whines around because the Dems won't give him money for his wall of hate, but he didn't mention that he originally wanted Mexico to pay for that wall.

And he also says nothing about low border security because of his government shutdown.
