There two groups of armed radicals, pro-Ukrainian and pro-Rossian, who took arms after referendums in Lugansk and Donetsk - similar to crimean one - have ended in favor of Ukraine. Conflict escalated, and now we have what we have - zone on territory of Ukraine, bordering RF, where these groups regularely engage. Ukraine has military presence in region, trying to subjugate conflicting groups, and also there reports of unofficial presence of RF military as well. Generally - an utter, disgusting mess, started by unstable, sick people with arms and supported by politically conflicting states.

I haven't heard anything about ISIS getting involved, though. And unlikely they will, population there in majority are christians or atheists. ISIS won't find there any sort of support, maybe except for a few gunnuts to drag from that act of terror into other.

Well, statement as goofy as sculpture on the picture. No personal offence. There will not be any sort of war, I assure you as citizen of RF. Many things are possible over that conflict, but not war.

    And also,

    Excuse me, next for what??

the unstable, sick, disgusting, people were mecenaries like Motorola, Givi, Zacharchenko, Strelkov(girkin), Denis pushilin, and some others were supposedly eliminated by the FSB for probably kmowing too much, this is according to my militia friend in Kharkov. The above mentioned some of them had criminal records from the past, so no big loss.

I checked Pushilin, he seems to be alive. Zakharchenko too. I even think, now that I googled him, I saw him in the news giving some interview few days ago.
Arsen 'Motorola' Pavlov is dead all right. Mikhail 'Givi' Tolstih died just... Nineteen days ago.

Girkin seems to be alive too.

Just making things clear, which of them are dead and which are not.

Everything is possible, we will see. I, sadly, know too small about DNR and current events going on there.

There is no final decidion made yet, and making it without consulting with people of Crimea is, to say the least, goes against United Nations views on the human rights.

I happen to believe everyone deserves statehood.

Ukrainians are still largely Orthodox Christian.

Really. My current brief research attempt didn't support that and kept getting confused with election results.
What about the East West distribution of Orthodox vs Roman Catholic.
