Well, I assumed what you are saying about Obama's faith to be the case iniially, but now that I am aware of how he favored Muslim refugees over even more needy Christian ones, and larded his administration with people with links to the Muslim Brotherhood I am inclined to believe I was wrong.

 

The people that vote in the 2020 election will hold Trump accountable. Those voters, not the whining liberal press, or all the fools plugging us streets and hiways will be the ones to judge Trump, as it should be.

Then why did you give Obama's Penn and phone a pass? Thus far Trump doesn't have his whole team in place and until he does things will necessarily proceed by fits and starts.

It'll be the American People that hold the American President accountable
After 18 months of a brutal election cycle; both candidates laid their cards on the table for the people to decide.
They did so on November 8, 2016 - where the choice couldn't be any more clearer:
1. Take a 3rd term of Barack Obama with Hillary Clinton
2. Change the direction of the country with Donald Trump

In 4 years again Americans will get to hold President Trump accountable.
And 4 years is a good enough stretch to give him a chance to enact his policies and succeed or fail on his own terms.
I know some people relish in this internet age where they want results instantly and think they can swap out presidents like the tinder app. But this is real life - and there are real processes to go through.

We can't expect the media to hold Trump accountable because they have been riddles with so much bias it is hard to trust anything they say at this point. Even recent polling shows that a larger percentage trust Donald Trump more than they trust the media.
For Pete's sake, just look at the recent shenanigans with Sweden - Trump says look at what's happening in Sweden - And the media goes nuts trying to say nothing is happening in Sweden as if to make Donald Trump look bad. Instead of actually doing journalism to get the real story and find out what's going on. Now they had a riot in Swedish suburb and you see how quickly those same news agencies switch the topic from Sweden. Pathetic!

As for congress and the democrats. Boy who cried wolf is the best anecdote to describe the situation.You look at a guy like Cory Booker who is supposed to be a rising star on the Democrat team - look how quickly he threw his colleague Jeff Sessions under the bus to play party politics. Pathetic! They're blocking and stalling Trump's cabinet nominees for no good reason when Republicans did not do the same for Obama.

When I go from ABC to CBS to NBC to CNN to MSNBC and I hear the same snide, scripted, and negatively modified version of facts, I see collusion, not competition.

I heard an analysis back in 2008 that if you didn't count the people that didn't belong in this country, or the young people that could afford health care but didn't buy it because they knew they would live forever, that left about 12 million people that needed health care but couldn't afford it. That was about 5-6% of the population. So, for what amounted to a relatively small problem that a little intelligence could have solved, Obama and the Dems destroyed a system that was working pretty well for 94-95% of the population. Brilliant!

Illegal immigrants, tax policy, military, reduction of corporate taxes, protecting the Constitution with the appointment of conservative SCOTUS judges.

I have a problem with the two Republican Senators that voted against DeVos being paid off by the Teachers Unions. Harry Reid was paid off by enviro freaks and shut down the Yucca Mountain project in Nevada. These people have been reduced to selling themselves on the street corner. This is not the way this country is supposed to work.

The ninth circus court stopped Trump's first attempt at controlling who gets into this country. That court is the most overturned court in the country and their ruling was wrong. SCOTUS has a habit of ruling on cases that it shouldn't touch. Roe v Wade is a prime example of something that should have been left up to the states because there is no mention of abortion in the Constitution.

 

The free press and the independent judiciary will. That's why he's trying to kill them.
His supporters will polish his turds ad nauseam, so don't count on them.

IMO you really don't understand the effect of all that raucous noise on thought oriented types. It just angers them and makes them more determined. Forget the sententious bs and try to think for a change. Why was Trump elected, and what were the core goals of those that elected him? Look beyond the persona Trump used to get elected to understand what is really going on here.

If Sanders had been elected, would you be acting like this? Trump was the only other non-neocon candidate.

Your constant yammering and court manipulations and the temptation that presents aside, the only real concern is to help Trump to resist joining in with the war-for-profit neocon crowd. If you want to yammer on about something, aim for that--it's the biggest danger, as that's how our Big Boys have been raking in much of their money for years now through their destroy-through-warfare then profit-through- rebuilding model. Hillary was deep into it, as was Bush. Obama seemed to oppose it as much as he could by his drone activity instead of open warfare, and the treaty with Iraq, but having Hil as his Secretary of State initially was a big win for the neocons even under Obama.
