Sandy just can't stand Trump. Period. He wouldn't care if he was liberal, moderate, or a conservative.

Ah, so now Trump is a good Hitler. And you wonder why the left has lost credibility with so many Americans...

I would argue that Trump hasn't changed. He simply doesn't have a firm set of convictions.

    Trump has NOT changed.

He's still the same vulgar, uneducated, unqualified incompetent that he was before.

He's an opportunist, concerned about his own vanity, first and foremost.

He also has no loyalty to anyone (except maybe his daughter).

He'll let Schumer and Pelosi call the tune as long as it makes him look good.

And he'll go back on it on a moment's notice, for no obviously logical reason at all.

    That's what sociopaths do.

And yet a reality TV star utterly shattered your Clintonista Dream. Word of advice: Up your game next time and trot something other than trash as a candidate.

    Have to agree

All of a sudden there is this reversal in thinking, policy and behaviour??? All of this has come since Kelly was in the White House

So guess who is really running the country?

Means nothing except that advertising works

If the election had been merit based i.e. Who was most capable of doing the job rather than "who has the winning demographic" then it would be a different story

Poplar does not equal good leader

LOL!! The Beast spent 3 times as much money trying to polish that turd. Are you saying she had terrible advertising or just admitting the product is abysmal failure, a Clinton lemon?

Where were you when everyone was discussing that Trump was a "change" candidate that neither party accepted? The establishment Republicans of course hate him; he upset their apple cart just as surely as he did Clinton's.

Most of you were hoping that he could get the Democrats in Congress to list out their demands and he would meet them?

Trump gave a series of conflicting statements on Thursday about how he hopes to deal with the Dreamers, muddying the waters over whether he will support their bid to gain eventual citizenship and whether he will demand a border wall in exchange.

The conflicting viewpoints came from the very start. Trump said he was ending DACA, which was highly popular with both Democrats and Republicans, but gave Congress six months to craft immigration legislation replacing Obama's 2012 executive order. Furthermore, he promised to protect the Dreamers during that six month period.

Trump told reporters in Florida that he's "not looking at citizenship" as an option for the young immigrants and also "not looking for amnesty." The comment conflicted directly with an earlier White House statement. It said, "the Trump administration will not be discussing amnesty" but that a possible option "could include legal citizenship over a period of time."

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Wednesday that they had reached an agreement with Trump to tie measures to grant Dreamers legal status to border security measures, but not to a wall. They said Trump had made clear he would continue to demand a wall, and that they had told him they would oppose it. To which Republican Steve King of Iowa tweeted, "If AP is correct, Trump base is blown up, destroyed, irreparable, and disillusioned beyond repair. No promise is credible."

Trump said funding for a wall along the US border with Mexico must be part of any deal on immigration, but also conceded that the funding for the wall could come at a later date. Then he said, “If there’s not a wall, we’re doing nothing,” referring to the Dreamers and the deal he supposedly made with the Democrats.

First, he tweeted at 3:11 in the morning, "No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote."

He immediately followed that with another tweet. "Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!....."

And, "...They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security."

Trump continues his highly questionable tactic of attempting to have it both ways. He wants to make everyone happy. After eight months he has yet to learn that such a tactic pleases no one and infuriates those on both sides of an issue.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter tweeted, "At this point, Who doesn't want Trump impeached."

Well, I read controversial posts daily. I note one of them just above this post by me.

Here is my only reason to vote for Trump. Hillary sucked.

Though I have no degree in a field from college, I resent the "looking down their nose at me" attitude from the left. And those hating Trump as well.

How many hours of college must I have for any of it to count? I know i have many hundreds of hours of education in college plus professional courses just to hold the licenses I have held? Are all the Democrats geniuses? I know according to tests i took, i am.

Still i do not flaunt it.

Swamp is not the moderates. I believe Schumer and Pelosi are radicals. Trump now is breaking bread with them. I suppose you hate that. I think he has a fertile mind able to lay out a longer course given the lack of help he gets from a very few Republicans.

Would I have loved Hillary? Not for one moment. And I had two choices. A lot of stuff Trump said i blew off as campaign rhetoric. But that applies to Hillary also.

It really stuck in my craw today. Trump is such a jerk.

I watched Fox News today. Trump is consumed by fear of the White House press corps. For that reason, he refuses to hold a White House press conference. He has not had one since February, breaking every Presidential record. Trump had some important things to say today. So, how did he hold a press conference? Aboard Air Force One to the accompaniment of jet engines. The viewer not could hear the reporters' question, and I strained to hear what the President was saying. This "press conference" lasted about ten minutes.

Trump wasn't through pissing off the reporters and the viewing public. Next he held another "press conference" on the White House lawn. This time it was to the accompaniment to the propeller blades of Marine One.

I switched to a rerun of Law and Order. Trump does whatever it takes to piss off everyone around him. He is some President.

No, Robert, I am amused. As a Trump supporter, I'm guessing you hate that. They are radicals, remember?

Many of us would like to see our government actually function again as it is supposed to. That includes having our elected officials cooperate and get the business of the country handled despite their differences--and that requires communication and compromise.

I understand that for some younger posters on here, the current state of affairs is considered normal, but it really isn't. Many of us also remember when we could trust our news reporters to report, not propagandize.

If you are gullible enough to believe that, there is a bridge I'd love to sell you, cheap, too. If you okay the deal, I'll tell you where to send the money.
