Would you consider conspiracy to violate Federal campaign finance laws a high crime?

As of now there is no evidence made public that Trump has committed this.

But should there be...do you consider it a high crime?

In partisan politics, yes, since it is all relative between the 2 major powers. Unless the level of allowable wrongdoing is equal, then the system is inherently unbalanced and dysfunctional.

The CORE premise of the rule of law is that a law equally applies and is enforced against all - or equally is not enforced against all. That also is a constitutional requirement for equal treatment under the law. So yes, if Democrat officials can break laws, Republicans have a constitutionally protected right to do the same.

    What violation? Be specific.

Do you believe conspiracy to violate state laws is a high crime?

If this is true as you maintain, then this is one of the main reasons this country is in such poor shape.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this thread.

Nope. This was started as a thread for the increasingly delusional left and their neocon allies to come and bay at the moon, as their preferred outcome slides ever more rapidly into the fat chance bin.

Not one charge after a couple years. Mueller and his team are proving how incompetent they are. It seems some of you are basing your case on faux news reports on a daily basis. Keep watching, the next bomb shell will be released soon, will it be the one that gets Trump indicted? LOL.

For me, the delivery, under the secrecy of darkness, of at least one C-130 loaded with pallets of cash to a nation state who, at the time, was at the very top of the State Department's list of "State Sponsors of Terror", and during a time when we were engaged in a "war on terror", borders on treason.

To discount treason, one would have to argue that either Iran was not an enemy actor in the "war on terror", OR, that $150bn in cash did not amount to "aid and comfort to the enemy".
