They will start inspecting houses after they have collected all voluntary gun givers weapons.

Perhaps, since they would have already trashed one amendment, I doubt they would balk at trashing another - especially one that they are already walking all over as it is.

Bypassing Congress to confiscate guns. A Congress with a back bone would impeach him and remove him for usurpation of the prerogatives of Congress.

An Executive Order would indeed do wonders for the GOP.

And that right there is when chaos will ensue.

The United States citizens aren't going to allow police to come and randomly inspect their houses whenever they please.
And the ONLY way for the government to know who has weapons in their homes is to allow just that.

Not going to happen. Sure, they'll be some new "laws", but you are in such denial if you think there's going to be a ban on guns across the board.

I wouldnt think Americans will tolerate getting groped at the airport but seems we will allow anything for "safety".

She's living in some alternate universe, one where she can honestly believe there will be a door to door confiscation of guns.
Maybe they also give away Ferrari's as well, if so I'm heading there now.

You keep believing that America is behind the *take the country back winggunnut fringe* all the way ... while Lanza at this moment is *juicing himself-up* for his next move ...

I don't care if he threatens me or not, if he wants my guns, then come and get them.

I'll be more than happy to defend my second amendment rights. Atleast I'll go out with honor knowing that I stood my ground and defended my constitutional right to bear arms, knowing that I took a stand for freedom.

The Dictator in chief can suck my c*ck.

Not if he says they are not your rights! In the past 20 years we have stomped all over the constitution.

Well these are a bit different circumstances. For one you don't HAVE to fly (well in most cases) so by choosing to fly you are accepting the processes involved with airport security.

Most Americans have a place to live. Which means that all of those Americans with a place to live will now be allowing unrestricted police access to their homes. This will also include unrestricted access to all property including storage units etc.

American's aren't going to tolerate that. Not even most liberals would be ok with the police being able to ransack their houses whenever they please.

We all admire how you're willing to go down in a hail of automatic-fire ... that's right, cops and feds tote automatics ... just because of what some old guys said over 200 years ago.

LOL, you do enjoy throwing gas on the fire don't you. I am not nervous yet, he may suprise me but I honestly do not think Obama is that stupid. There is not enough room in our prison system to make any drastic changes. So for now I am confident no bans till at least 2015. Even then it would be unlikely.

One interesting point, congress tried to limit one method that Obama could use by making a law that would protect led ammunition from EPA oversight. Unfortunately that bill died, so I suppose one legal attack that Obama could do would be to restrict the sale or use of any ammunition that contains lead bullets.

Of course this would just lead to a new market for other types of bullets, but it would be one step that he could legally do.

They can tote whatever they like, it won't make confiscation any less deadly for them...

You think I'm not aware of that. I'm fully aware of what the consequences are.

I'm not giving up my second amendment rights.

I don't know that he has that power but there again he seems to decide what his power is.

    Hey exotix hey, hey yoohoo!

Hey how is the government supposed to know that I have 8 unregistered assault rifles in my basement if I don't let them in my house?

Or are you advocating that we do indeed give the government unrestricted access to all of our homes whenever they please?

What the heck is "Executive Action" Biden is talking about? There is no such thing but Obama has referenced the use of Executive Action back in 2011 when he decided to nationalize the student loan industry.

"There are executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken."

That is why mandatory registration is so important to these liberals, registration appears in all the proposed legislation. They have to know who has them and if you fail to register them you can easily be considered a terrorist, belligerent, and the NDAA was crafted for such a purpose.

Obama V2, I hope all you libs are enjoying this totalitarian dictator you wanted.

What folk should be doing is very quietly preparing...and those who are young enough and mad enough, should be organizing...For us old folk, well, I'll watch and keep my powder dry...and visit my congress critters whenever an issue gets as far as a vote so as to remind them of their duty.

The folk screaming on internet forums are pretty harmless. The folk NOT making noise are the real patriots.

The EPA falls under the executive branch and basically has free reign to determine what substances are harmful to the environment and how to regulate them. Congress has passed a few laws to limit some of those powers, but as it stands, if Obama decided to have the EPA declare lead in ammunition a pollutant and make sale of it illegal, it would be within his authority.

Kind of hard to know that I don't register something that you don't even know I have since its unregistered lol...

"Hey you! Register all of your currently owned firearms right now or you bill be breaking the law"
    "Ok"
    "Did you register them?"
    "Yes"
"How do I know you aren't lying?"
    "You don't"
"How many guns did you register?"
    "2"
"How many guns do you have"
    "I don't know..."
    "$%&#!!!!!"

That right there is making liberal politicians throw temper tantrums.
